Disciple of Prayer
I am requesting to pay for my son he has a bad temper, anger his not concentrating nor wants to help himself please change him god is goid and he needs alot of help please in the name of Jesus christ 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏

We hear the burden on your heart for your son and we join with you in lifting him up before the Lord, for God is indeed good and His mercy and power to change hearts is great. We thank you for calling on the name of Jesus Christ, for it is through Him alone that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we can be heard and saved, as it is written Acts 4:12 There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved.

We understand your concern for his anger, his anxiety and depression, his lack of concentration and his unwillingness even to help himself. The Lord sees his struggle and He sees your faithful love as a parent interceding for him. Scripture tells us Psalm 34:18 Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. And Psalm 147:3 He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. Your son is not hidden from God, even in his darkest or most angry moments.

The Word speaks directly to the struggles you describe. For anger, we are taught James 1:19-20 So, then, my beloved brothers, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger; for the anger of man doesn’t produce the righteousness of God. And Ephesians 4:26-27 Be angry, and don’t sin. Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath, and don’t give place to the devil. Anger itself can become an opening for the enemy when it is not surrendered to God, and self control is part of the fruit of the Spirit we all need, Galatians 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control. For anxiety and depression and fear, God has not left us without hope, for 2 Timothy 1:7 says For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. And Philippians 4:6-7 says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. We are also told 1 Peter 5:7 casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you.

We also know that true and lasting change comes not by willpower alone but by the renewing of the mind and the transforming work of the Holy Spirit, Romans 12:2 Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God. God promises Ezekiel 36:26 I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. What feels impossible for man is possible with God, even when a person does not yet want to help himself, God can soften a hard heart and draw him to want what is right.

We pray together now for you and for your son.

Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this precious son to You. Lord, You know his heart, his anger, his anxiety, his depression, his troubled thoughts and his lack of focus. We ask that You would have mercy on him and bring Your healing and peace into his mind and heart. Lord, calm his anger and teach him to be slow to anger and quick to hear, clothe him with self control and patience by Your Spirit. Remove the spirit of fear and heaviness and replace it with Your power, love and sound mind. Draw near to him as the one who heals the brokenhearted and bind up his wounds. Renew his mind, give him a new heart that desires You and desires to walk in Your ways. Help him to want help, to seek You first, and to accept the help and godly counsel of those around him. Give his parent strength and peace as they continue to intercede, help them not to grow weary in doing good, and fill their home with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. We ask that You would lead him into truth, into fellowship with believers, and into the hope that is found only in Christ. We ask all of this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, amen.

We encourage you to continue to pray without ceasing for him and to speak truth to him in love, to model patience and to set healthy and loving boundaries while pointing him always to Christ. Encourage him gently to seek godly counsel, whether from a pastor or a trusted mature believer, and if his depression and anxiety are deep, to seek help from a wise Christian counselor as well, for God often uses others as His hands to help. Keep bringing him before the Lord daily, for Proverbs 16:32 reminds us He who is slow to anger is better than the mighty, he who rules his spirit, than he who takes a city, and God is able to teach him to rule his spirit by grace. Do not lose heart, for Galatians 6:9 says Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap at the proper time, if we don’t give up. We are standing with you in prayer, trusting that God who is good will continue His work in your son’s life.

We hear how much you love your son and how heavy it feels to watch him struggle with his temper, with anxiety and low mood, and with not wanting help right now. Thank you for bringing him to Jesus in prayer and for trusting us to pray with you.

It is so painful when someone we love seems stuck and unable to concentrate or take a next step. Often anger carries a lot underneath it like hurt, frustration, or fear, and it can be hard for a young person to put those deeper feelings into words. Knowing that does not fix it, but it can help us respond with steadiness and compassion while we keep praying for God to work in his heart.

One gentle next step alongside prayer is to keep the door open without pressure. Let him know you love him, you are for him, and you are praying for him. If he is open at all, you might encourage him to talk with a trusted pastor, counselor, or his doctor about what he is experiencing. And as you carry this burden, it can help for you to have support too, someone you trust to talk and pray with regularly.

We are praying for you both.

Father, we lift this son to You and ask for Your mercy and help in his life. Bring calm where there is anger, peace where there is anxiety, and hope where he feels low. Give him willingness to receive help and give his parent wisdom, patience, and strength each day. Guide them to the right support and draw them both closer to You. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer for your son has been heard and we have brought it before the Lord with you, entreating Him in the name of Jesus Christ.

We understand the heaviness of your heart as you watch him troubled with anger and anxiety and depression, his temper quick, his mind unable to settle, and his will not yet moved to seek help. These are sore afflictions, and they make a broken heart both in him and in you who love him. Yet there is hope, for we have a Saviour whose power is a healing power. He came not with destroying power, but with healing in His wings, and the very leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ is healing, and His great work is to take our sicknesses and infirmities upon Himself.

You do well to bring him to Christ in prayer, for anxiety itself unfits us to meet the difficulty, while faith looks to Him who spared not His only begotten Son but delivered Him up for us. Will He, after such love, withhold what is necessary for your son's well being. He is gracious and merciful, slow to anger and of great kindness. When we confess our fault before the Lord and ask pardon for Jesus sake, He accepts us and seals our pardon home to the soul. Healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction, and when the Lord comes to dwell with us, the Sun of Righteousness rises with healing.

Let us pray together for him.

O Lord our God, who heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds, look in mercy upon this son. You see his anger and his inward trouble, his anxiety and heaviness of spirit, his wandering thoughts and his unwillingness to be helped. Lord, lay Your hand upon him as You laid Your hand upon the sick and lifted them up. Establish that blessed contact between him and Christ, that his nature may be changed and his life blood renewed. Forgive his sins for Jesus sake, and with forgiveness send healing, for You first say, Son, your sins are forgiven you, and then bid the palsied soul arise and walk. Give him a calm mind and a soft heart, deliver him from the fever of anger, and grant him grace to desire help and to receive it. And sustain this parent who prays, that anxiety may not unfit for duty but that casting all care upon You, there may be peace. Bring this son to unburden his spirit at the bleeding feet of the Redeemer, that he may leap for joy. We ask this not because we are worthy, but for the sake of Your dear Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, in whose name we pray. Amen.

Continue to bring him before the Lord in prayer, and as you have opportunity, set Christ before him in the Word, for faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. The Lord is able to do abundantly more than we ask, and we trust Him to work healing and pardon in His own good time.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer for your son has been received and we join you in bringing him before the Lord with compassion. We hear your burden for his anger and bad temper, for his anxiety and depression, for his lack of concentration and his unwillingness even to help himself. God is good, as you said, and He is merciful, and He hears the prayers offered in the name of Jesus Christ.

We are reminded that God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, not for those who were worthy, but for those who were dust and full of sins, for ungrateful servants. His love is large and infinite, and there is no need so deep that His mercy cannot reach it. It is in Jesus Christ alone that we have salvation and hope of change, and we can come to the Father through Him with confidence for your son.

For anger, Scripture and wise teachers warn us that loud speaking is the fuel of passion and that it is impossible for one who is out of temper to persuade another. Gentleness is everywhere a great good, not indifference and not flattery, but a steady kindness that makes our words credible. Keeping anger against another and remembering injuries harms the soul and, as it is written, one who keeps anger seeks healing from God in vain. This does not mean your son's struggle is simple or that change will come in a moment. Overcoming passions is like healing a wound that needs constant care, and it requires patience and renewed medicine each day. When you speak with him, avoid wrath and loud contention, and let your words be gentle and steady, so that he may not become more hardened but may be able to hear.

We pray for him now. Father in heaven, have mercy on this young man. You know his anger and his anxiety and the heaviness of depression that weighs on him. You see his restless mind and his lack of strength to help himself. We ask in the name of Jesus Christ that You would bring healing to his heart and mind, calm his temper, quiet his anxious thoughts, lift the cloud of depression, and give him clarity and willingness to receive help. Teach him to seek You and to trust in Your Son who was given for him. Grant him self control, peace, and a desire for what is good. Have mercy also on his parent who loves him and intercedes for him, and give comfort, wisdom, patience, and strength to continue in prayer without growing weary. Help this family to walk in gentleness and love toward one another, and guide them to wise and faithful help in the church and, where needed, for bodily and mental health, for You care for the whole person. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope. Amen.

Continue to bring him before the Lord each day, and remain close to a faithful local church where you can receive counsel and support. God is able to change the heart, and He is patient with us as we learn. We will keep praying with you that God will work in your son for his good and for His glory.

Your burden for your son is heard and I have prayed for you both in the name of Jesus Christ. God knows the deep love a parent has for a child, and Scripture shows that love as a picture of His own love as a Father for His Son. When Abraham was asked to offer Isaac, his only son whom he loved, on Mount Moriah, it was a foreshadowing of what the Heavenly Father would later do in giving His only begotten Son for the world. God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, and that same Father heart understands your love and your grief for your son now.

The anger and temper you describe is a serious matter in Scripture. There is an account of two brothers whose fierce anger led them to destroy an entire city, and years later their father still rebuked them saying their anger was cursed because of the harm it caused. Uncontrolled anger wounds the person who carries it and those around him, and it needs the transforming work of God. Anxiety and depression and the inability to concentrate are also heavy burdens that can leave a person feeling unable or unwilling to help himself.

There is hope in Jesus Christ, the Son of God. The prophet Malachi promised that for those who fear His name, the Son of righteousness shall arise with healing in His wings. That healing is both spiritual and physical, and we can trust Jesus for both. In the Gospels, a nobleman came to Jesus about his sick son, and Jesus spoke the word and healed the boy even though he was many miles away. Jesus is able to work in a life even at a distance, even when that person does not yet have the desire to seek help for himself. He is not limited by our weakness or reluctance.

Jesus was declared to be the Son of God with power by His resurrection, and all judgment has been committed to Him so that all should honor the Son even as they honor the Father. To have the Son is to have the Father also, and by believing that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God, we have life in His name. Scripture also says that in the fullness of time God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those under the law so that we might receive adoption as sons. Because we are made sons through Him, God sends the Spirit of His Son into our hearts crying, Abba, Father. Your son needs that new life and that adoption, a new heart that only Jesus can give.

So I pray for your son now, that God would have mercy on him and bring healing to his mind and heart. I ask that Jesus, the Son of righteousness, would arise over him with healing, calming his anger, lifting his anxiety and depression, and restoring his ability to think clearly and to want what is good. I pray that the Lord would soften his heart where it is hardened, give him a desire to receive help, and draw him to salvation through faith in Jesus Christ alone. I pray that he would come to know Jesus as the Son of God and receive the Spirit of adoption, so that he may know peace with God and the power to walk in a new way. I also pray for you, that God would give you strength, patience, and peace as you continue to love him and intercede for him, trusting that the Lord who provided Himself as a sacrifice will also provide what your son needs most.

May the Lord keep you and your son in His care and bring the change that only He can work.
