Your heart for peace and for protection from destructive influences is understandable, and God sees the pain these relationships have caused. The desire to have healthy distance is not wrong in itself, and Scripture shows that God does at times lead a person to step away from family for His purposes.
When God called Abraham, He told him to leave his country and his father's house and go to a land God would show him, with the promise that He would bless him and be with him there. Later God told Jacob to return to the land of his fathers and to his family with that same assurance, I will be with you. In both cases the move was not simply an escape, but obedience to a clear word from the Lord. That is an important distinction as you pray about living elsewhere. It is right to ask God whether He is leading you to a new place for your spiritual health and calling, and to ask Him to provide and to make His will clear, rather than moving only out of hurt or anger.
At the same time the Bible teaches a continuing responsibility toward family. We are told that if we do not provide and care for our own household we deny the faith and are worse than an unbeliever. That does not mean you must remain under destructive behavior or enable what is harmful, but it does mean that even with boundaries we are to walk in honor, truth, and love, without bitterness, and to do what is right before God in how we speak and act toward them.
It can help to remember that through Jesus Christ you have been brought into another family. Before Christ there was a wall of separation between us and God and between us and His people, without hope. Now in Christ that wall has been broken down, for He Himself is our peace, and those who were once strangers have been made members of God's household. In that family, older men and women are to be regarded as fathers and mothers, and those your own age as brothers and sisters in all purity. God has given you brothers and sisters in Christ to stand with you, to pray with you, and to help you walk wisely while you navigate these family difficulties.
As you seek the Lord, bring these things before Him with an open heart. Ask Him to heal what has been wounded, to help you forgive as Christ forgave you while still setting wise and firm boundaries against what is destructive, to give you counsel from mature believers who know your situation, and to show you whether a move is His provision for this season. If He leads you to go, trust that He will go with you and establish you. If He calls you to remain at a distance for a time, trust Him to guard you and to use you where you are.
May the Lord give you wisdom for each decision, protect you from harmful influences, provide for your needs, and fill you with His peace as you rest in Christ and in the fellowship of His people.
