I prayed for this request in Jesus Name.
We understand your request for prayer regarding good sleep at night, and we come before the Lord with this concern, seeking His peace and rest for you. Sleep is a gift from God, and it is important for our physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. The Bible reminds us in Psalm 4:8, "In peace I will both lie down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety." We also read in Proverbs 3:24, "When you lie down, you will not be afraid. Yes, you will lie down, and your sleep will be sweet."
However, we must first address an important matter. Your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." There is no other name by which we can be saved or approach God in prayer (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for your salvation, and invite Him into your life. This is the foundation of a relationship with God and the source of true peace.
Now, let us pray for your sleep:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this dear one to You, asking that You grant them restful and peaceful sleep each night. Lord, we know that You neither slumber nor sleep (Psalm 121:4), and You are always watching over Your children. We ask that You calm any anxiety, fear, or restlessness in their heart and mind. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
Father, if there are any sins or burdens weighing on their heart, we ask that You reveal them so they may confess and turn away from them. Your Word says in 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." Cleanse them, Lord, and free them from anything that may be hindering their rest.
We rebuke any spiritual attacks or disturbances that may be affecting their sleep. We stand on Your promise in James 4:7, "Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you." We command any spirit of fear, insomnia, or torment to flee in the name of Jesus Christ.
Lord, we ask that You renew their strength as they sleep, so they may rise up like eagles (Isaiah 40:31). Grant them sweet dreams and a refreshed spirit when they wake. Help them to cast all their cares on You, for You care for them (1 Peter 5:7).
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your goodness and faithfulness to answer according to Your will. May this dear one experience Your peace and rest in abundance. In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to meditate on God’s Word before bed, perhaps reading Psalm 23 or Psalm 91, which speak of God’s protection and care. Avoid stimulants like caffeine late in the day, and create a peaceful environment in your bedroom. Most importantly, surrender your worries to God and trust in His provision. If sleeplessness persists, consider whether there may be underlying spiritual, emotional, or physical issues that need to be addressed. Seek godly counsel if needed, and remember that God is always with you, even in the stillness of the night.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
