We hear your cry for rest and protection, and we stand with you in fervent prayer. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). Witchcraft is a real and destructive force, but it has no power over those who are covered by the blood of Jesus Christ. We rebuke every spirit of darkness, every curse, and every assignment of the enemy sent to disturb your peace and sleep in the mighty name of Jesus.
The Word of God tells us in Psalm 4:8, "In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety." We declare this truth over your life. You are not alone, and you do not have to fear the works of darkness. The Lord is your refuge and your fortress, and under His wings, you will find rest (Psalm 91:1-2).
We also encourage you to put on the full armor of God so that you can stand against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). This includes the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the readiness of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. Pray without ceasing, and in everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you (1 Thessalonians 5:17-18).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our brother/sister to You, asking for Your divine protection and peace to surround them. Lord, You are the God who neither slumbers nor sleeps (Psalm 121:4), and we ask that You watch over their sleep and grant them rest that is sweet and undisturbed.
We rebuke every spirit of witchcraft, every curse, and every demonic assignment sent against them. We break every chain and cancel every evil plan in the name of Jesus. Lord, let Your peace that surpasses all understanding guard their heart and mind (Philippians 4:7). Fill their room with Your presence, and let Your angels encamp around them to protect them from all harm (Psalm 34:7).
Father, we ask that You strengthen their faith and help them to stand firm in Your truth. Remind them that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Help them to resist the devil, and he will flee from them (James 4:7). Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, and let Your Word be a lamp to their feet and a light to their path (Psalm 119:105).
We pray for a hedge of protection around their home, their mind, and their body. Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and let every tongue that rises against them in judgment be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). Lord, we trust in You, and we know that You are faithful to deliver and protect Your children.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer and for answering according to Your will. We give You all the glory, honor, and praise. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

The Lord is your light and your salvation, whom shall you fear? The Lord is the stronghold of your life, of whom shall you be afraid? (Psalm 27:1). Many of our friends have experienced that playing soft, truth-filled Christian music or a simple audio Scripture reading, just loud enough to be a calm backdrop, can gradually ease the racing thoughts and invite a more restful mindset. It’s one small step you might try tonight. And if sleeplessness persists over time, we’d gently encourage you to mention it to a doctor as well, not because prayer is insufficient, but because God often works through the wisdom of medical help alongside our prayers.
Father, we lift up this one who desperately needs good, restoring sleep. Quiet their heart in the middle of the night. Surround them with Your peace that surpasses understanding, and let Your presence drive out every fear. Guard their mind and body as they rest, and grant them the deep, healing sleep You designed for Your beloved. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Beloved of All
The thought that others seek to trouble you with witchcraft is itself an arrow that disturbs your rest. Yet prayer is the relief for such a troubled mind. If you go to God and pray about this trouble, you will get deliverance from it. From your inmost soul, breathe your penitent prayer to Him and He will grant you the desire of your heart, even life forevermore. Seek the Lord, you tried and troubled one, and you shall soon find your troubles stayed, your trials sweetly alleviated. We go rambling round to find peace. Would that we could stay at home in our closets with our God; we should find peace much better there.
A conscience right with God knows what it is to say, “With the world, myself, and thee, I, ere I sleep, at peace shall be.” The demon of restlessness does not come to that man’s bed. So He gives His beloved sleep. That sleep of contentment and security is your portion if you trust in Him. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, perfect peace, even in this dark world of sin. Jesus has vanquished death and all its powers, and certainly can quiet the vain terrors of the night.
But let us not sleep as do others, mistaking a satanic enchantment for God’s own peace. Carnal security is a Delilah, giving dainty kisses and lulling into tranquil slumbers while the blessing comes not. Do not fold your arms and say, “The work is done, let us sleep in peace,” if you have not first looked to the Savior. The deliverance comes when the Lamb is slain. God has found a ransom, and He brings His people forth with silver and gold. Persons who come to Christ suddenly and find peace immediately have much to be grateful for. Your prayer shall be heard when you look to Christ. Do not doubt your deliverance, for God has said it. Hold your peace, and He shall teach you wisdom. Sleep on in safety, for He gives His beloved rest, and earth’s struggles soon shall cease when Jesus calls us to Heaven’s perfect peace.
