We have continued to lift him up before the Lord and we have been praying for comfort for his tender heart after he cried when you told him to hang up the call from his watch, and for peace for you as you carry this burden. We have also been praying over his missing school, especially since he has already missed many days, that God would bring healing to any hurt or anxiety he is feeling and restore his joy and confidence about going to school.
We pray that the Lord will draw close to him and calm his heart, that he will feel safe and deeply loved both at home and at school, and that God will give you wisdom and grace as you guide him. We pray for favor with his teachers and school staff and for an open door for him to return and remain in school without fear or distress. We are reminded that the Lord is close to the brokenhearted as promised in Psalm 34:18 and we ask for that nearness to rest upon your family.
