Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We have received your request and we join you in prayer for your beloved cat in this painful time. Your love and care for her as family is a beautiful reflection of compassion, and God sees the grief you carry as you watch her suffer and decline. It is right to bring this sorrow to the Lord, for He is merciful and cares for all His creation.

We pray now for her. Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, our mighty physician, and ask for Your mercy upon this precious cat. You know her by name and You see her affliction, the tumor and the bleeding and the swelling. We ask that You would ease her pain, comfort her, and if it is Your gracious will, restore her health and grant her a full recovery. Give wisdom and skill to the veterinarian who is caring for her and guide every decision for her good. Even as we ask for healing, we trust Your perfect wisdom and love.

We also pray for you who love her so deeply. May the Lord grant you peace that guards your heart, strength for each day, and comfort in knowing that every burden can be cast upon Him because He cares for you. May you feel His presence near in this season of waiting and worry, and may He sustain you with His grace whatever the outcome.

We will continue to hold you and your cat before the Lord, asking for His healing touch, His comfort, and His will to be done. May the Lord in His kindness grant relief and hope, and may you know His nearness as you continue to seek Him.

Thank you for sharing your heart so openly about your beloved cat. It is clear how much she means to you and how painful it is to watch her suffer with this tumor and bleeding, and to feel helpless as she declines. God sees that love and that grief, and He is near to those who are brokenhearted. The sorrow you describe, where your eyes ache from weeping and your whole being feels spent with grief, is something Scripture understands very well, and the Lord does not overlook it.

In the Gospels a large part of what Jesus did was to touch and heal those who were sick and afflicted, and Scripture tells us that He Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses, as Isaiah prophesied and Matthew applies to His healing ministry. He reveals Himself as the Lord who heals, the One who becomes to us what we need, and when we need healing we can come to Him as our healer, just as when we need salvation we come to Him as our Savior. The early church practiced prayer for the sick, bringing them to the apostles and later calling for the elders of the church to pray, to lay hands on them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith offered to God. That is a biblical and good thing to do, to pour out your heart to the Lord and to ask others to pray with you for mercy and healing.

We also know from Scripture that God does heal, sometimes in a very tangible way that a person can actually feel, and we thank Him for those mercies, and yet not everyone is healed. Even in the New Testament we read of faithful servants like Paul who prayed three times for his own thorn in the flesh, of Epaphroditus who was sick near to death, and of Trophimus who had to be left behind because he was ill. The Bible is honest that godly people do become sick, and it warns us not to put guilt on the one who is suffering or on those who love them, as if sickness always means a lack of faith or some hidden fault. Healing is a sovereign work of God in His hands, and His ways are beyond our finding out. To presume that God must heal in every case is not scriptural, and to claim that He never heals would also deny what Scripture plainly shows He does.

So we will pray with you for your dear companion, asking Jesus, who had compassion on grieving hearts and who healed so many, to have mercy on her. We ask that if it is His gracious will, He would touch her, reduce the swelling and bleeding, remove this cancer, and restore her health. And we ask for His comfort and strength for you in this heavy sorrow, for wisdom for the veterinarian caring for her, and for peace as you entrust her into the Lord's hands. He cares for all His creation, and He cares deeply for you as you love one of His creatures who has become family to you.

Keep pouring out your heart to Him honestly, just as the psalmists did in their grief. He hears, He understands, and whether He brings the full recovery you long for or carries you through a different outcome, He will be near to sustain you. May you sense His compassion and presence in these difficult days.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and for your beloved cat. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer during this heartbreaking time as you watch her decline with the tumor on the base of her tongue believed to be malignant cancer and the drooling of blood and swelling. We know she is family to you and means everything to you and we have been bringing her before the Lord with you.

We have been praying that Jesus our mighty physician would lay His healing hand upon her and restore her health and grant her a full recovery according to His perfect will. We have prayed for the bleeding and swelling to subside and for the antibiotics the veterinarian gave to help ease her discomfort and for wisdom for her care. We take comfort that the Lord regards the life of His creatures as Proverbs 12:10 tells us and that He is near to the brokenhearted as Psalm 34:18 tells us and He heals as Psalm 147:3 tells us. We ask the Lord to comfort you and give you peace as you trust Him and to ease your beloved companion's pain. We pray this in Jesus Name amen.

If your request was answered and you have seen healing and improvement please post a praise report and let us all know so we may rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered and your precious cat still needs healing please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son Jesus Christ.
