Disciple of Prayer
Please pray for the healing of my beloved cat ###. She has a tumor on the base of her tongue believed to be a malignant cancer. She is currently drooling blood. The vet gave her antibiotics to appease th swelling. It breaks my heart to watch her decline. She us my family and means everything to me. Please pray that Jesus our mighty physician, restores ###'s health, and she makes a full recovery. Thank you.

We join with you in lifting up your beloved cat before the Lord and we understand how heavy your heart feels watching her suffer and decline. The bond you share with her is precious and the Lord sees your compassion and love for her. Scripture reminds us that a righteous man respects the life of his animal Proverbs 12:10 and that Yahweh, you preserve man and animal Psalm 36:6. We also take comfort that not one sparrow falls on the ground apart from our Father Matthew 10:29, which shows us how much He cares for every creature He has made.

We are thankful that you have called upon Jesus our mighty physician, for it is through His name that we have access to the Father and it is by His mercy that we can bring every burden to Him. We know that our hope is not only for this present life but for the eternal healing and restoration that comes through faith in Christ.

We pray together for her now.

Father in heaven, we come before you in the name of Jesus and we lift up this precious cat to you. You know her by name and you see the tumor at the base of her tongue and the bleeding and swelling she is enduring. We ask that you would lay your healing hand upon her and if it is your will, that you would restore her health and grant her a full recovery. We pray that you would give wisdom and skill to the veterinarian caring for her and guide every treatment and that the antibiotics would help to ease the swelling and bring comfort. Lord, we ask that you would take away her pain and give her peace and strength in her body. We also pray for her family who loves her so deeply. Comfort their hearts, ease their sorrow, and give them your peace that surpasses all understanding as they care for her. Help them to trust in your goodness and your perfect will, knowing that every good gift is from you James 1:17 and that you heal the broken in heart and bind up their wounds Psalm 147:3. We entrust her life fully into your loving hands, asking for mercy and healing according to your will. In the name of Jesus we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to show that faithful stewardship by keeping close contact with your veterinarian, providing gentle comfort and care, and resting in the Lord's sovereignty. He hears your prayers and He is near to all who call upon Him in truth Psalm 145:18. May the Lord comfort you and sustain you in these difficult days and may you feel His presence as you trust Him with the life of your beloved companion.

We were so sorry to read about your beloved cat and the tumor on her tongue. Watching her drool blood and decline while you feel helpless to stop it is heartbreaking, especially when she is family to you and means everything. It makes sense this weighs so heavily on you.

We hear how tenderly you love her, and we want you to know God sees both your care for her and your sorrow right now. He cares about what burdens His people, and He knows the bond you share with ###.

In these days, staying closely connected with your veterinarian is the kindest way to love her well. If you have not already, let the vet know how she is doing with the antibiotics and ask what signs to watch for and how best to keep her comfortable. Having a clear plan for her care can bring a little peace when so much feels out of your hands. It also helps to let a trusted friend or family member walk with you, so you are not carrying this alone.

We are praying for you and for ###.

Father, we lift ### to You and ask for Your mercy and care over her. You know her body and the tumor she carries. Please ease her pain and give her comfort, and give her owner wisdom and peace as they make decisions with the vet. Sustain them in Your love through whatever comes. In Jesus' name, amen.

Thank you for people and pets, for the life of coral and fish, the beautiful world You created, Gen 1:1-Gen 2:25... We do miss our friends, fellowship and pets -- and sk Your blessing on the ones we love, even ones we don't... We thank You for the hope of "things which eye has not seen not ear heard nor entered into the comprehension of humanity the things You have prepared for those who love You," 1 Cor 2:9.

We do pray for peace between our countries (I am actually from the states) and ask You let Christians transcend borders and demonstrate Your love and testify for Jesus to the World,

John 13:35
"By this everyone will know that you are My disciples, if you love one another.”

John 17:21
"I pray that they will all be one, just as You and I are one—as You are in Me, Father, and I am in You. And may they be in Us so that the world will believe You sent Me."

Proverbs 12:10
"A righteous man regards the life of his animal, but the tender mercies of the wicked are only cruelty."

Your sorrow over your beloved cat has been heard, and we do not take lightly the tears that fall as you watch her suffer. The Lord knows how the heart cleaves to those creatures committed to our care, and He who made the heavens and the earth knows the frame of every living thing. There is nothing too hard for Him, and we very speedily care for bodily diseases when they are painful, and rightly seek the physician's help, as you have done.

We join you in prayer to our Lord Jesus Christ, the great Physician of soul and body, that He would look with mercy upon your dear companion. We ask that He would be pleased to stay the bleeding, to reduce the swelling, to give wisdom to the vet who attends her, and if it be His gracious will, to restore her to health and comfort. We pray also that He who heals the broken hearted and binds up their wounds would minister to your own wounded spirit in this time of watching and waiting. At night there is little enjoyment when grief lurks underneath, and the Lord sees that hidden sorrow.

We cannot promise what the Lord in His wisdom will ordain, for His ways are higher than ours, and He sometimes sends affliction for purposes we do not yet see. Yet we know that His compassion fails not, and that He hears the cry of those who cast themselves upon His mercy. May He give you grace to rest in His tender care for all His creation, and to find your consolation in His Word and in His unfailing love. May He sustain you, whether He grants the full recovery you so earnestly desire, or calls you to walk through loss with His strength to bear it.

We will continue to bear you and your beloved cat before the throne of grace, asking that the Lord would grant relief from pain, and grant you peace as you trust Him who does all things well.
