We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear sister in Christ who is facing a health crisis. It is written in James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." We stand on this promise, believing in the healing power of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Father God, we ask that You lay Your healing hands upon this precious daughter of Yours. We rebuke the spirit of infirmity and command her blood pressure to stabilize in the mighty name of Jesus. We declare that her body will respond to treatment and that the symptoms of vomiting and dizziness will cease. Your Word says in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." We claim this healing for her, Lord, and we trust in Your unfailing love and mercy.
We also pray for this family, Lord. Strengthen their bonds and fill their hearts with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). May they support one another with love, patience, and kindness, reflecting Your grace in their words and actions. Guide them, Father, and let Your presence be a constant comfort and source of hope.
Now, we must address an important matter. While we appreciate the heartfelt plea for healing, it is crucial to approach God in the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." It is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and can boldly come before His throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). If this sister or any member of her family does not yet know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we pray that they would come to repentance and place their trust in Him. For it is written in Romans 10:9, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."
We also encourage this family to examine their lives and confess any unrepentant sin, for the prayer of the righteous is powerful and effective (James 5:16). Let them seek forgiveness and turn away from anything that displeases You, Lord, so that their prayers may not be hindered (1 Peter 3:7).
Heavenly Father, we lift up this sister and her family to You, trusting in Your perfect will. Whether You choose to heal her instantly or through the skill of medical professionals, we know that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). May Your name be glorified in this situation, and may Your will be done. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
