We lift up this mother and her son before the Lord, who is our Great Physician and Healer. It is clear that there is a deep need for divine intervention in their lives as they battle dengue fever, a serious illness that brings suffering and weakness. We are grateful that you have brought this request before us, and we join you in earnest prayer for their complete healing and restoration.
First, we must always remember that our prayers are only heard and answered because of the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we can approach the Father, and it is only through faith in Jesus that we receive salvation and the promise of His healing power. As Scripture declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today, for He alone holds the power over life, death, and every sickness.
Now, let us turn our hearts fully to the Lord in prayer for this mother and her son. We know that God is not distant from their suffering but is near to the brokenhearted. *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds"* (Psalm 147:3, WEB). We also take comfort in the words of James, who reminds us, *"Is any among you suffering? Let him pray. Is any cheerful? Let him sing praises. Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven"* (James 5:13-15, WEB).
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this mother and her son who are suffering from dengue fever. Lord, You are the God who sees their pain, who knows their weakness, and who holds their lives in Your hands. We ask that You stretch out Your hand of healing upon them, rebuking this sickness and restoring their bodies to full health. Let Your healing power flow through them, strengthening their immune systems, renewing their energy, and driving out every trace of this disease.
Lord, we pray for comfort in their suffering. When the fever rages and the pain feels unbearable, remind them that You are with them. Fill their hearts with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their minds and hearts in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Surround them with Your presence, and let them feel Your love in tangible ways—through the care of others, through moments of rest, and through the assurance that You are working all things for their good.
We also pray for the medical professionals attending to them. Grant them wisdom, skill, and discernment as they provide treatment. Guide their hands and minds so that every decision made aligns with Your will for complete restoration.
Father, if there is any sin in their lives—whether known or unknown—that could hinder their healing, we ask that You convict their hearts and lead them to repentance. *"Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective"* (James 5:16, WEB). May they seek You with all their hearts, turning away from anything that displeases You, so that nothing stands in the way of Your healing touch.
Lord, we declare Your promises over them: *"By his wounds you were healed"* (1 Peter 2:24, WEB). We stand on Your Word, believing that You are faithful to fulfill what You have spoken. Let this trial be a testimony of Your goodness and power, not only to them but to all who witness their healing.
Finally, Father, we ask that You provide for their every need during this time—physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Strengthen their faith, and let them emerge from this trial with a deeper trust in You. May they give You all the glory, honor, and praise for their healing.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your perfect will. May Your name be exalted through their restoration. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
To those who have brought this request before us, we encourage you to continue praying without ceasing. *"Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God"* (Philippians 4:6, WEB). Keep trusting in the Lord, even when the situation seems dire. Our God is able to do far more abundantly than all we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).
If this mother and son do not yet know Jesus as their Savior, we urge you to share the Gospel with them. There is no greater healing than the salvation of their souls. *"For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life"* (John 3:16, WEB). Let them know that Jesus is not only their Healer but their Redeemer, the One who can forgive their sins and give them eternal life.
We will continue to lift them up in prayer, trusting that the Lord will bring about His perfect will in their lives. Stay strong in faith, and may the Lord bless you as you intercede for them.
