We join you in lifting up your department head and your relationship with her, for it is written, *"The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the water courses. He turns it wherever he desires"* (Proverbs 21:1, WEB). It is good that you seek God’s wisdom and discernment for her, for *"if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him"* (James 1:5, WEB). We also pray for unity and peace between you, for *"how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to live together in unity!"* (Psalm 133:1, WEB).
We commend you for praying in the name of Jesus, for He Himself said, *"Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you"* (John 16:23, WEB). There is no other name by which we can approach the throne of God, and it is only through Christ that our prayers are heard. Your faith in praying this way is a testament to your trust in Him, and we encourage you to continue seeking His will in all things.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with grateful hearts, thanking You for the authority and leadership You place in our lives. Lord, we lift up this department head, asking that You grant her a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Christ (Ephesians 1:17). Open her eyes to see beyond the schemes of man and to discern truth from deception. Guard her heart against negativity, division, and the influence of those who do not seek what is right in Your sight. May she lead with integrity, humility, and a heart surrendered to You, for *"when the righteous thrive, the people rejoice; but when the wicked rule, the people groan"* (Proverbs 29:2, WEB).
Father, we also pray for the relationship between our sister and her department head. Soften any hardness of heart and remove any barriers of misunderstanding or mistrust. Replace them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). May their interactions be marked by mutual respect, honesty, and a spirit of cooperation that glorifies You. Help them to communicate with grace and clarity, and may any conflicts be resolved in a manner that honors Your name.
Lord, we ask that You fill their department with Your presence, that every decision made would align with Your will and every action taken would reflect Your love. May they serve with excellence, not for the praise of men, but for Your glory alone. Let their work be a testimony of Your goodness, and may others see Christ in them.
We rebuke any spirit of manipulation, deceit, or strife that may seek to disrupt this workplace. By the authority of Jesus Christ, we command these spirits to flee, for *"where envy and selfish ambition exist, there is confusion and every evil deed"* (James 3:16, WEB). Instead, let the fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control—abound in this place (Galatians 5:22-23).
Father, we thank You for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your sovereignty and believe that You are working all things together for the good of those who love You (Romans 8:28). Strengthen our sister in her faith and give her the words to speak when needed, that she may be a light in her workplace. May her conduct be blameless, and may she walk in wisdom toward those who are outside, redeeming the time (Colossians 4:5).
We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
