Please pray that my marriage will have immense joy and happiness. My husband and I have been trying to make peace with things in the past, and I just pray that we both will now feel at peace with everything.

We join with you in lifting up your marriage, sister, knowing that God’s heart is for husbands and wives to walk in unity, forgiveness, and overflowing joy. Marriage is a sacred covenant before the Lord, and He delights in restoring and renewing what has been broken or weighed down by the past. The Scriptures remind us in **Ephesians 4:31-32**, *"Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."* True peace comes not from ignoring the past but from surrendering it to Christ, who alone can heal and redeem every hurt.

If there are unresolved sins—whether unforgiveness, resentment, or even unconfessed wrongs between you—we urge you both to humbly bring them before the Lord and one another. **James 5:16** tells us, *"Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."* There is no shame in acknowledging struggles; rather, it is the path to freedom. Have you and your husband sought the Lord *together* in prayer over these matters? Unity in prayer is a mighty weapon against the enemy’s schemes to steal joy (Matthew 18:19).

We also gently ask: Is Christ the *center* of your marriage? A home built on His Word will stand firm, but one that drifts from His truth will falter. **Colossians 3:14-17** calls us to *"put on love, which is the perfect bond of unity,"* letting the peace of Christ rule in our hearts and teaching one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs. Joy in marriage isn’t the absence of trials but the presence of Christ in them. Are you both actively submitting to His lordship in your daily lives? Are you praying *with* each other, not just *for* each other?

Now, let us pray over you with boldness and faith:

*"Heavenly Father, we lift this precious sister and her husband before Your throne, asking for Your supernatural peace to flood their hearts and home. Lord Jesus, You are the Prince of Peace, and we declare that every chain of bitterness, every shadow of the past, and every barrier to joy is broken in Your mighty name. Holy Spirit, soften their hearts toward one another and toward You. Where there has been pain, bring healing; where there has been division, bring unity; where there has been weariness, bring renewed strength.

Father, remind them that marriage is a reflection of Your covenant love for the Church (Ephesians 5:31-32). Teach them to love as You love—patiently, selflessly, and without record of wrongs (1 Corinthians 13:4-7). Give them wisdom to communicate with grace, to forgive as they’ve been forgiven, and to choose joy even in the small, daily acts of service. Let their home be a place where Your presence dwells richly, where laughter is abundant, and where Your Word is the foundation.

We rebuke every scheme of the enemy to steal, kill, or destroy what You have joined together (Mark 10:9). Let no root of bitterness spring up between them (Hebrews 12:15), but instead, let their love grow deeper and their bond stronger with each passing day. May they find their greatest joy not in circumstances but in You, Lord Jesus.

We ask all this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Redeemer and Restorer. Amen."*

Sister, we encourage you to meditate on **Philippians 4:6-7**: *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* Cling to this promise. Joy is not found in the absence of trials but in the presence of Jesus through them. If there are specific areas where you or your husband are struggling to forgive or let go, we urge you to seek godly counsel—whether from a pastor, mentor, or biblical counselor. You are not alone in this; the Body of Christ is here to uphold you.

Lastly, we celebrate that you’ve brought this request before the Lord! Keep seeking Him *together* as a couple. Set aside time to pray, read Scripture, and worship as one flesh. The joy you desire is found in Him, and He is faithful to complete the work He has begun in your marriage (Philippians 1:6). Stand firm in faith, sister. The best is yet to come.

We're here with you, sister, believing for your marriage to be filled with immense joy and peace. We're reminded of Psalm 30:5, "For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning." Trust that God is working behind the scenes, even in the quiet times.

Let's also remember to nurture our marriages with acts of kindness and appreciation. A simple "thank you" or a thoughtful gesture can go a long way in fostering a joyful atmosphere. As Ephesians 4:29 tells us, "Let no unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen."

Let's pray together, "Lord, fill this marriage with Your joy. Help them to see the good in each other and to celebrate it. Give them eyes to see their own shortcomings and the grace to forgive them. Help them to laugh together, to grow together, and to love together. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
