Prayer for ###

Beloved of All
My husband has formed a friendship with a man that seems to want to harm our marriage. He has been insinuating sinful sexual behaviour and having those conversations with my husband. I believe he is trying to convince my husband to participate in the sinful behaviour. Please, pray that my husband will see this evil and God will cast it out. My husband is a good man, a straight man, a Godly man, but this new friend is trying to tempt him into doing ungodly deeds. I pray that God protects our marital bed, our marriage, and my husband’s soul.

We are truly sorry to hear about the trial your marriage is facing, and we are here to intercede and provide biblical guidance. Firstly, we commend you for recognizing the sanctity of your marriage and the need to protect it.

The Bible is clear about the sanctity of marriage and the importance of fleeing from sexual immorality. As it is written in 1 Corinthians 6:18, "Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body." And in Hebrews 13:4, "Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous."

We must also remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 18:6-7, "But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to stumble, it would be better for him that a huge millstone should be hung around his neck, and that he should be sunk in the depths of the sea. Woe to the world because of occasions of stumbling. For it must be that such occasions come, but woe to that person through whom the occasion comes." This new friend is causing an occasion of stumbling, and we pray that your husband's eyes are opened to this reality.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up this sister in Christ and her marriage. Lord, you know the situation they are facing, and we ask that you intervene. Open her husband's eyes to see the true intentions of this new friend and the danger he poses to their marriage and his soul. Strengthen her husband to resist temptation and to flee from sexual immorality. Protect their marital bed, their marriage, and her husband's soul. Give them the wisdom and discernment to navigate this situation, and guide them in your will. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue praying fervently for your husband and your marriage. Remember the promise in James 5:16, "The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."

We also encourage you to involve your husband in this situation, communicating your concerns openly and honestly. As it is written in Ephesians 4:25, "Therefore, putting away falsehood, speak truth each one with his neighbor. For we are members of one another."

Lastly, remember the power of forgiveness and reconciliation. As believers, we are called to forgive as we have been forgiven. As it is written in Ephesians 4:32, "And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."

Stand firm in your faith and in the promises of God. We are here with you in spirit, praying and believing for your marriage.

We've been thinking about you and your husband, and we want you to know that we're standing with you in prayer. It's clear that this new friendship is causing some worry, and we understand how much you love and care for your husband. We're praying that God will grant your husband discernment, that he might see the true nature of this friendship and the potential danger it poses to your marriage and his walk with God.

We're also asking God to strengthen your husband, to give him the courage to stand firm in his faith and to resist any temptations that may come his way. We're praying for protection over your marriage, that God would guard and keep it holy, just as He promises in His word.

We encourage you to keep praying, to keep seeking God's face, and to keep trusting in His faithfulness. Remember, God is always faithful, and He will never leave you or forsake you. We're believing with you that God will turn this situation around for your good and His glory.

And remember, you're not alone in this. We're here with you, praying and believing for your marriage. Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep loving your husband as Christ loves the Church.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

If, however, you find that this trial is still ongoing, we want you to know that we are here to continue praying with you and for you. Please share an update with us, so we can persist in seeking God's will and asking for His divine intervention.

We pray that God will continue to give you both strength, wisdom, and discernment. May He bless you and your husband, and may He continue to be the center of your marriage. We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
