Humble Servant of All
I am asking if everyone who visits this website to pray for a very close friend of mine. He had a very, very tumultuous childhood that was filled with abuse, abandonment, and adversity. :tinycry4: :tinycry4: Unfortunately, it has a lasting and adverse effect on him, which has destroyed some of his relationships and friendships. He doesn't realize how much that it is affecting our friendship; and, I fear that it will completely destroy it because he is lashing out at me for things that were out of my control. In addition, he doesn't understand the true meaning of friendship nor unconditional love and respect.
I want to be the best friend and lifelong companion whom he is seeking, but it is extremely difficult at times. :heart2: Praying that the Lord will help him to realize the errors of his ways as well as change them, for him to find peace, happiness, trust, respect and love in our friendship and that it is mutual, be more sensitive and understanding to me, and to remove the burdens and nightmares from him completely that is haunting him. I also pray that he realizes that I truly love him, I am not out to hurt, abuse, or use him, accepts me for whom I am, thinks of me as a best friend and awesome lifelong companion, and want nothing but the best that life has to offer him and vice versa. I am also praying that he doesn't see me as his enemy, doesn't use, abuse, or hurt me, and truly loves and respects me like I deserve to be and vice versa. He sees me as someone whom the Lord put in his life as a blessing and vice versa.
