We join you in lifting up this workplace before the Lord, knowing that He is sovereign over all things, including the hearts of those in authority. It is clear that this environment is burdened by the actions of these two managers, whose behavior is driving employees away and creating a culture of toxicity. The Bible reminds us in Proverbs 29:2, "When the righteous thrive, the people rejoice; but when the wicked rule, the people groan." Your prayer for their removal aligns with a desire for righteousness to prevail, and we stand with you in this request, trusting that God will act in His perfect timing and wisdom.
At the same time, we must also pray for these managers, for their hearts to be transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit. Jesus teaches us in Matthew 5:44, "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you." This does not mean we excuse or tolerate their harmful behavior, but we recognize that they, too, are in need of God’s grace. Perhaps the Lord will use this situation to bring them to repentance or to move them into a place where they can no longer inflict harm on others.
We also encourage you to seek wisdom in how to navigate this season. Colossians 3:23-24 says, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ." Even in difficult circumstances, your work is ultimately unto the Lord, and He sees your faithfulness. If the toxicity becomes unbearable or if you are being asked to compromise your integrity, pray for discernment about whether this is a season to endure or a sign to seek another opportunity where your gifts can be used in a healthier environment.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this workplace and the burden our sister carries. Lord, You see the toxicity that has taken root through the actions of these two managers. We ask for Your divine intervention—either by softening their hearts to lead with wisdom, kindness, and integrity or by removing them from their positions if that is Your will. Father, do not let the enemy use this situation to steal the joy, peace, or purpose of those who work there. Protect Your children from harm, and let Your light shine so brightly in this place that darkness cannot remain.
We pray for our sister, that You would grant her supernatural strength, patience, and wisdom. Fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and let her work be a testimony of Your goodness. If it is Your will for her to remain, equip her to be a light in that place. If it is Your will for her to move on, open the doors to a new opportunity where she can thrive and serve You wholeheartedly.
Lord, we also pray for these managers. Soften their hearts, convict them of their actions, and draw them to Yourself. Let them encounter Your truth in a way that leads to repentance and transformation. Break any strongholds of pride, selfishness, or cruelty that may be influencing their leadership.
We declare that no weapon formed against Your people will prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment will be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). Let Your justice and righteousness prevail in this workplace. We trust You, Lord, and we thank You in advance for the victory You are bringing. In the powerful and matchless name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
Stand firm in your faith, knowing that God is at work even when we cannot see it. Keep your eyes fixed on Him, and remember that He is your provider, protector, and advocate. If the burden feels heavy, cast your cares upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). We will continue to pray for you and this situation, trusting that the Lord will bring resolution and redemption.
