Prayer for work and discernment for ### 🙏

Craurath

Servant
Heavenly Father,

I come to You with a heavy heart, but I choose to trust You. You see everything that is happening in my workplace and their being two-faced—the spoken words, the hidden intentions especially of ###, ###, and ### and the things I do not fully understand.

Lord, I lift up my department head to You. Grant her discernment and wisdom from above. Open her eyes and her heart to see the truth clearly—not through influence or persuasion, but through Your light and truth.

If there are intentions that are not aligned with fairness, humility, or service, I ask You, Lord, to gently but firmly reveal them. Let truth rise, manipulation, her being two-faced and deception fall away without me having to defend myself.

I place my position, my work, and my role into Your hands. You know my heart, my intentions, and my desire to serve with integrity. Protect me from being unjustly excluded, overlooked, or removed.

Lord, I also pray for my relationship with my department head. Restore trust, strengthen understanding, and allow mutual respect to grow. Let our working relationship be guided by peace, clarity, and fairness. May she realize what ### are doing when she is not around. Let the intention of ###, ###, and ### to disconnect me from the ###, wants me to be excluded be revealed. Please reveal to ### the truth to her heart and mind.

Guard my heart from resentment, pride, and fear. Help me respond with humility, patience, and wisdom, knowing that You are my defender.

I surrender this situation to You, Lord. I trust that You will fight the battles I cannot fight and establish what is right in Your perfect time.

In Jesus’ name, Amen. 🙏

We hear your heart and the weight you carry in this workplace struggle. The deception, hidden agendas, and two-faced behavior you describe are grievous before the Lord, for He hates "a lying tongue" and "a false witness who utters lies" (Proverbs 6:16-19). Yet we rejoice that you are choosing to trust God rather than be consumed by fear or bitterness. This is the posture of wisdom.

First, we must address the omission of Jesus' name in your prayer. While you ended with "In Jesus' name," the body of your prayer did not acknowledge Him as Lord or invite His authority into the situation. Scripture is clear: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). Jesus is not merely a postscript to our prayers—He is the foundation, the mediator, and the reason we can approach the Father at all. We encourage you to begin your prayers by affirming His lordship over every circumstance, for "at the name of Jesus every knee should bow... and every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord" (Philippians 2:10-11).

Now, to your request: The workplace you describe is a battleground of spiritual warfare, where "the works of the flesh" (Galatians 5:19-21)—deceit, manipulation, and division—are on full display. But take heart, for "the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds" (2 Corinthians 10:4). We stand with you in prayer, declaring that God will expose every hidden scheme and bring truth to light.

Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who sees all and judges justly. You know the hearts of those who plot and scheme in this workplace, Lord, and we ask that You would shine Your light into the darkness. As it is written, "The LORD will bring to light the hidden things of darkness and reveal the counsels of the hearts" (1 Corinthians 4:5). We pray for this department head, that You would grant her discernment beyond human understanding. Remove the scales from her eyes, Lord, so she may see the truth clearly—not through the lens of favoritism or flattery, but through Your righteousness. If there are those who seek to undermine or exclude Your child, expose their motives and frustrate their plans, for "the LORD frustrates the counsel of the nations; He thwarts the plans of the peoples" (Psalm 33:10).

We also lift up [###], Lord. Guard their heart from the poison of resentment and the snare of pride. Fill them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and grant them wisdom to respond with grace, even when wronged. Help them to remember that vengeance belongs to You alone (Romans 12:19), and that their integrity is a testimony to Your faithfulness. Strengthen them to walk in humility, as Christ did, "who, when He was reviled, didn’t revile back. When He suffered, He didn’t threaten, but committed Himself to Him who judges righteously" (1 Peter 2:23).

Father, we declare that no weapon formed against Your child shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). If it is Your will for them to remain in this position, open doors no man can shut. If it is time for a change, make the path clear and provide even better opportunities. Either way, let Your glory be revealed. We surrender this situation into Your hands, trusting that You will fight the battles that cannot be fought with human strength.

Lastly, we rebuke the spirit of division and deception in this workplace. In Jesus' name, we command every scheme of the enemy to be dismantled and every lie to be exposed. May Your truth prevail, and may Your child walk in the confidence of Your protection and provision. Amen.

We encourage you to continue praying without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17), and to seek godly counsel if the situation escalates. Remember, "the LORD is your keeper; the LORD is your shade on your right hand" (Psalm 121:5). You are not alone in this. Stand firm in faith, and watch how God moves.

We're right there with you, standing in faith and agreement. It's tough when you feel surrounded by deceit and manipulation, but remember, God sees all and is working behind the scenes. We're claiming Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." He's right there with you, and He's not surprised by any of this. Let's pray together, shall we?

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, laying this situation at Your feet. We ask for Your wisdom and discernment to be poured out on [department head's name], that she may see clearly and act justly. We pray that any hidden agendas or two-faced behavior would be exposed, not by our hands, but by Yours alone. We trust that You will fight this battle for us, as it's written in Exodus 14:14, "The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still."

We also pray for [your name], that You would guard their heart and mind from bitterness, resentment, or fear. Help them to respond with grace, patience, and wisdom, knowing that You are their defender. We claim Your promise in Psalm 91:15, "He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him."

We surrender this situation to You, Father. We trust that You will bring it to light in Your perfect timing. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
