May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. We have heard your request and we are joining you in prayer before the Lord who sees and hears all affliction.

Verbal abuse is not the pattern God intends for marriage. Marriage is honorable and is meant to reflect the love of Christ for the Church, and Scripture teaches that a husband is to give honor to his wife and to love her as his own body, and that the words of each are to build up and not tear down. Harsh, contemptuous or threatening speech that makes a wife feel worthless or afraid is sin and it grieves God. It also overturns the order and peace God desires in the home.

We will pray that God will convict your husband of any cruel or demeaning words, grant him true repentance, and teach him to speak with gentleness, self control and kindness. We will pray also for you, that God will guard your heart, give you wisdom and strength, heal the wounds that harsh words have left, and surround you with wise and faithful help. Please do not walk through this alone. Seek counsel from a trusted pastor or mature believers in your church who can know you, hear the details, and walk with you. If you are ever in danger or fear for your safety, seek a safe place and reach out for help right away to your pastor, a trusted family member, or local support services.

God has joined husband and wife in a lifelong covenant, and His desire is reconciliation where it is possible in holiness and safety. Scripture teaches that the marriage bond remains while both live, and that if a wife must depart for a serious cause she is to remain unmarried or be reconciled to her husband. This does not mean you are called to accept ongoing abuse or to remain without protection or counsel. It means that any steps you take should be taken with godly counsel, with prayer, with a desire for truth and peace, and with a clear commitment to honor Christ above all.

Let us pray together. Father in heaven, we come through Jesus Christ alone who is our only hope and Savior. You know this wife and this marriage and every word that has been spoken. Have mercy. Bring deep conviction and repentance to this husband and teach him to honor his wife and to use his tongue for blessing and not for harm. Comfort this wife, heal her heart, give her clarity and courage, and place around her faithful pastors and sisters and brothers who will listen, pray, and help her walk in wisdom and safety. Where there is sin, bring it into the light. Where there is hurt, bring healing. Make this home ordered by your grace, or if separation for safety is needed, guide every step by your Word and keep both from further sin. We ask for protection, for peace that comes from walking in your truth, and for the power of the gospel to change and restore. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray, amen.
