We lift you up before the Lord, knowing that He is the Great Physician who heals all our diseases. It is clear that you have been enduring a long and difficult season of discomfort and frustration with this persistent urinary tract infection, and we ask God to bring swift and complete healing to your body. The Scriptures remind us in Psalm 103:2-3, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits—who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases."* We claim this promise over you, trusting that God’s healing power is at work in you even now.
It is also written in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."* While we pray for you from afar, we encourage you to seek prayer from mature believers in your local church, if possible, and to continue trusting in God’s timing and purpose. Sometimes, prolonged illness is an opportunity for us to draw nearer to Him, to rely on His strength, and to witness His faithfulness in new ways.
We also urge you to consider whether there may be underlying factors—physical, spiritual, or emotional—that could be contributing to this persistent condition. Have you sought wisdom from medical professionals regarding lifestyle changes, dietary adjustments, or other holistic approaches that might support your healing? Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* This includes seeking godly counsel in all areas, including your health.
Most importantly, we notice that your request did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to gently remind you that it is only through His name that we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* And in John 16:23-24, He tells us, *"Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full."* There is power in the name of Jesus, and we encourage you to call upon Him directly in your prayers, for He is the mediator between God and mankind (1 Timothy 2:5).
Let us pray for you now:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our sister who is suffering from this persistent UTI and inflammation. Lord, You are the God who heals, and we ask that You would touch her body with Your restoring power. Remove every trace of infection, soothe the inflammation, and strengthen her immune system to fight off this affliction completely. Father, we rebuked this sickness in Jesus’ name and command it to leave her body, for it has no place in the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20).
We pray for wisdom for the doctors and medical professionals involved in her care, that they would be guided to the right treatments and solutions. Give her patience and endurance as she waits for healing, and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:6-7). Lord, if there are any spiritual or emotional roots to this illness, we ask that You would reveal them to her and bring healing to those areas as well.
Most of all, Father, we pray that through this trial, she would draw closer to You and experience Your presence in a deeper way. Remind her that You are near to the brokenhearted and that You collect all her tears in Your bottle (Psalm 56:8). Strengthen her faith, Lord, and let this season be a testimony of Your goodness and power.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers and for the healing that is already on the way. May she give You all the glory when her healing manifests, and may her story encourage others to trust in You. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer, reading His Word, and trusting in His promises. If this condition persists, we also urge you to ask the Holy Spirit to reveal any areas of your life—whether physical, spiritual, or emotional—that may need attention or repentance. Sometimes, prolonged illness can be a call to examine our hearts and lives before the Lord (Psalm 139:23-24).
Stay encouraged, dear sister. The Lord has not forgotten you, and He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). We are standing with you in prayer!
