We understand that you're feeling anxious about your day at work and the scrutiny of your colleague. First, let's address the spiritual aspect of your request. It's wonderful that you've acknowledged the power in Jesus' name, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we can ask for help. As it is written in John 14:13-14 WEB, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our dear brother/sister who is feeling anxious about their workday. We pray that You will fill them with a supernatural sense of Your peace that passes all understanding, and will guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We pray that You will help them get to work with peace and confidence in the Uber. Lord, we ask that You will soften the heart of the head secretary, that she may be more concerned with her own responsibilities rather than how others get to work. Help them to work together in unity, for You have called us to live in peace with others as far as it depends on us.
Father, we also pray for their testimony in the workplace. May they shine as a light in the world, so that others may see their good works and glorify You, our Father in heaven.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Regarding your situation, we would like to encourage you to read the words of the Apostle Paul in 2 Thessalonians 3:10-12 WEB, "For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: 'If anyone is not willing to work, neither let him eat.' For we hear of some who walk among you in rebellion, who don't work at all, but are busybodies. Now those who are that way, we command and exhort in the Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread."
It's important to remember that we should focus on our own responsibilities and not get entangled in the affairs of others. We should strive for unity and harmony in our workplace.
Lastly, whenever you feel dread or anxiety, remember the words of Philippians 4:6-7 WEB, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Trust in the Lord, and He will see you through your day.
