We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up in prayer, asking for divine intervention in her life. The Scriptures warn us clearly about the dangers of engaging in practices that are not aligned with God’s will. Yoga, in its origins and many modern forms, is deeply rooted in Eastern spirituality and mysticism, which are contrary to the truth of God’s Word. The Bible instructs us in 2 Corinthians 6:14-17, "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? What agreement has Christ with Belial? Or what portion has a believer with an unbeliever? What agreement has a temple of God with idols? For you are a temple of the living God. Even as God said, 'I will dwell in them and walk in them. I will be their God, and they will be my people.' Therefore, 'Come out from among them, and be separate,' says the Lord." We must rebuke the influence of the enemy in her life and pray that she turns away from these practices that open doors to deception and spiritual bondage.
First and foremost, we must pray for ’s salvation if she has not yet surrendered her life to Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If she has not confessed Jesus as Lord and believed in her heart that God raised Him from the dead, she remains lost in sin (Romans 10:9-10). We cry out to the Lord to soften her heart, open her eyes to the truth, and draw her to Himself. Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." Without Christ, she is separated from God, and we plead for her to be reconciled to Him through the blood of Jesus.
If has already professed faith in Christ, we pray for her repentance and deliverance from the snares of the enemy. The Bible warns us in 1 Peter 5:8, "Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour." Yoga is not merely exercise; it is often a gateway to spiritual deception, inviting influences that are not of God. We must stand in the authority of Jesus’ name and rebuke every lie, every spirit of deception, and every ungodly tie that has been formed through these practices. We declare that she is set free by the power of the cross and the resurrection of Jesus Christ (Galatians 5:1).
We pray for to be filled with the Holy Spirit, who will guide her into all truth (John 16:13). May she hunger and thirst for righteousness (Matthew 5:6) and seek God’s will above all else. Let her find her identity, purpose, and strength in Christ alone, not in the empty philosophies of this world (Colossians 2:8). We ask the Lord to grant her wisdom and discernment to recognize the lies she has believed and the courage to walk away from them. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths."
Father God, we lift up to You now. We ask that You break every chain of deception in her life. Open her eyes to see the truth of Your Word and the freedom that is found only in Jesus Christ. Surround her with godly influences, believers who will speak life, truth, and encouragement into her spirit. Give her a heart that seeks after You, a mind that is renewed by Your Word, and a spirit that is sensitive to Your leading. We pray for her protection from the enemy’s schemes and for her to walk in the fullness of Your purpose for her life.
Lord, we know that Your plans for are for good and not for harm, to give her a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). We ask that You reveal Your perfect will to her and give her the strength to follow it wholeheartedly. May she find joy and peace in Your presence, and may her life be a testimony of Your redeeming love. We declare that she is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), created for Your glory, and we pray that she walks in the calling You have placed on her life.
We also pray for her family, that they would stand in the gap for her, covering her in prayer and speaking truth in love. May they be a source of support and encouragement as she seeks to align her life with God’s will. Father, we ask that You unite her family in Christ and draw them all closer to You.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we command every ungodly influence to leave ’s life. We declare that she is washed clean by the blood of Jesus, set free from sin, and empowered to live a life that honors You. May she grow in faith, in love, and in the knowledge of Your truth. We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness to complete the good work You have begun in her. Amen.
