Dear God,

We lift up those who have a troubled mind and need emotional healing and relief

I pray You restore their mind and remove the entanglements over their mind in Jesus' name

Remove the mind binding spirit, angst and tormenting spirit in Jesus' name

Remove hurt and pain in Jesus' name

Remove pride and anything setting itself up against them in Jesus' name

Lord any self sabotage please heal this aspect in them so they don't limit themselves in Jesus' name

Bring about transformation in their life and help not be consumed by the spirit of insufficiency in Jesus' name

Heal their hurts and soothe them with the Holy Spirit who brings comfort to those who are afflicted in Jesus' name

I pray for hope deferred to be healed and worries to be cleared in Jesus' name

Thank You Lord for answered prayer in Jesus' precious name!

We join with you in lifting up those who have a troubled mind and we agree with you for emotional healing and relief and for the restoration that only God can bring. We thank you for praying in the precious name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and find true peace.

The Word reminds us of God's desire for our minds and hearts. Isaiah 26:3 says You will keep whoever's mind is steadfast in perfect peace, because he trusts in you. Philippians 4:6-7 says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. And 2 Timothy 1:7 says For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. We cling to these promises when angst and torment try to entangle the mind, knowing that God wants to bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ as taught in 2 Corinthians 10:5.

We also hear your heart for those struggling with hurt and pain, pride, self sabotage and the spirit of insufficiency. Scripture shows us that transformation comes by the renewing of the mind, for Romans 12:2 says Don't be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God. Our sufficiency is not in ourselves but in Christ, for 2 Corinthians 3:5 says our sufficiency is from God, and His grace is sufficient for us. When hope has been deferred we remember Proverbs 13:12 which says Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but when longing is fulfilled, it is a tree of life, and we know God is the healer of the brokenhearted, for Psalm 147:3 says He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. He also calls us to cast all our cares on Him, for 1 Peter 5:7 says casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you, and Jesus Himself offers comfort saying in John 14:27 Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you. Don't let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful.

We pray together now, Father, we lift up every person with a troubled mind before Your throne of grace in the name of Jesus. We ask You to restore their minds and remove every entanglement, every mind binding and tormenting spirit, and every heavy burden of angst, hurt and pain. We ask You to humble pride and tear down anything that sets itself up against Your truth in their lives. Lord, heal any pattern of self sabotage and help them not to limit what You want to do in them. Bring deep transformation by the renewing of their minds through Your Word and soothe them with Your Holy Spirit, the Comforter who comforts the afflicted. We ask You to heal hope deferred, to clear away worries, and to replace the spirit of insufficiency with the assurance that they are complete in Christ and that Your strength is made perfect in weakness. Let Your perfect peace guard their hearts and thoughts in Christ Jesus and lead them into hope and wholeness. We thank You, Father, for hearing us and for Your faithful answers, and we trust You to continue Your healing work, in Jesus' precious name, amen.

Thank you for lifting up those who carry a troubled mind so faithfully. We hear your heart for people who feel tangled in worry, hurt and self-doubt, and who are weary from hoping and waiting.

What you describe is so common and so heavy. When the mind is troubled it rarely stays only in the mind. Fearful thoughts, unsettled feelings and the body's stress response all affect each other at once, which is why worry can leave a person exhausted and why exhaustion can make thoughts feel louder. It helps to remember God cares for the whole person with patience, not just for the symptoms to go away quickly.

As we join you in prayer, one steady way to continue is to keep bringing these specific burdens to the Lord in simple, daily prayer, and to encourage anyone who is struggling not to carry it alone. Staying connected to a trusted pastor, counselor or mature friend can bring consistent support and perspective. If anxiety, low mood or intrusive thoughts are making daily life hard to manage, it is also a wise and caring step to reach out to a doctor or counselor alongside prayer.

Father, we lift up every person with a troubled mind you placed on this heart. Where there is hurt, angst and torment, bring Your comfort. Quiet the tangled thoughts, heal what has been wounded, and gently restore hope where it has worn thin. Give wisdom for each next step and surround each one with people who listen well and walk with them. We ask this in Jesus' name, amen.

There is a gracious promise for those whose minds are troubled and whose spirits are vexed, for our Lord Himself said, Let not your heart be troubled. He who knows what strong temptations mean, for He has felt the same, speaks this word not as a stranger but as a Saviour who would monopolize our sorrows and bear them Himself.

We join you in lifting up before the throne of grace all who are cast down in mind and afflicted in spirit. It is true that believers may yet come into a troubled state of mind, and when faith grows weak, peace of mind is apt to decline. Therefore we do well to ask, Why are you troubled and why do doubts arise in your hearts, and then to bring that very trouble to Christ, who is the cure for troubled hearts.

He heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds. We very speedily care for bodily diseases, but the Lord has provided a greater healing for the inward man. Healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction in Christ. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, and pardon and healing were one. So we pray that those who are tormented and entangled in mind may first find pardon at the cross, and with pardon, healing. For there is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the very leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing virtue to the soul.

Prayer is the soul's breath and if it breathes it lives and living it will gather strength again. Therefore let those who are racked in spirit kneel down and tell Him all that fills the tortured mind, and plead the promise that He will be with them, and they shall find Him true though all else be false.

We pray now, O Father, in the precious name of Jesus, that You would look upon those who are troubled, anxious, and wounded in mind. Remove what torments and entangles, subdue pride and every thought that exalts itself against the knowledge of Christ, and heal the hurt and pain which sin and sorrow have wrought. Grant deliverance from self sabotage and from the spirit of insufficiency which would limit what Your grace can do. Transform them by the renewing of their minds, and let this mind be in them which was also in Christ Jesus. Soothe the afflicted with the comfort of the Holy Spirit, clear their worries, and restore hope where hope has been deferred. Let them prove that the Sun of Righteousness has risen upon them with healing in His wings.

We thank You that You hear the prayer of the troubled and that You are nigh unto them that are of a broken heart. Grant peace that passes understanding, and keep heart and mind through Christ Jesus. Amen.

We join with you in lifting up before the Lord all who carry a troubled mind and seek emotional healing and relief. Your prayer is right to ask for the mind to be restored and made whole in Christ, for God cares deeply for those who are weary and heavy laden and He promises rest to those who come to Him.

Scripture teaches that confusion and turmoil often arise not only from the circumstances around us but from the condition within us. We all sail upon the same sea and none escapes waves and spray, yet some stand steady while others are tossed. This shows that it is not only the storm outside but the ordering of the mind inside that matters. When the mind is ordered to bear all things with trust in Christ and contentment in His providence, there can be calm even in hardship. For that reason the Lord says to His people, be not troubled, for nothing that befalls you is strange or outside His knowledge, and none of His promises will be shaken by the tumults of this life.

We also hear your desire for freedom from what entangles the mind. There are bonds that are not of iron but of the heart and mind, and Christ alone can loose them. The healing we need comes not all at once in every case, but as we continue to hear and receive His word. Even as a tree may stand after many strokes and fall at the last, or as a sickness may yield only after many remedies, so the word of God works steadily in the soul until fruit appears. Therefore we continue to pray and to listen and to trust.

Let us pray together:

Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, we bring before You every person with a troubled, anxious and tormented mind. You have not given us a spirit of fear but of power and love and a sound mind, and we ask You to grant that soundness now. Remove what binds and entangles thought, take away angst and torment, and heal hurt and pain that has taken root. Expose and humble pride and every thought that exalts itself against the knowledge of You, and teach each heart to walk in humility before You.

Lord, heal the pattern of self sabotage where Your children limit what You would do in them. Deliver from the sense of insufficiency and remind each one that our sufficiency is from You. Bring transformation by the renewing of the mind, that lives may be changed and not consumed by despair. Pour out Your Holy Spirit as the Comforter upon those who are afflicted, to soothe and to strengthen and to give peace that passes understanding.

Heal hope deferred and clear away worry and fear. Guard hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, and keep them in perfect peace as their minds are stayed on You. Establish them in security and liberty in Christ, seeking not only their own good but growing in love which is the crowning virtue.

We thank You that You hear prayer and that You are faithful to answer according to Your wisdom and mercy. May all who are troubled continue to seek You, to hear Your word, and to find in You a clear calm within even when the sea rages without.
