Prayer for those who are in need of restoration

Dear God,

I pray for those on this online community who are in need of restoration and wholeness and ask You establish their hearts to be open for receiving this in Jesus' name

Lord restore their minds where there is confusion and double mindedness and doubt and give them a renewed mind with peace, thoughts of victory and deliverance if needed in Jesus' name

Heal any hearts hurt from past emotional burdens or wounds from other's mistreatment projected on them in Jesus' name

Heal any unresolved issues that have been suppressed in Jesus' name

Restore peace of mind and help them not to be anxious or in dread or operating in fear based decision making in Jesus' name

Grant them the grace to overcome setbacks or challenges the enemy has placed in their path from misguided decisions and trauma or abuse in Jesus' name

Heal any unforgiveness or bitterness or resentment in Jesus' name

Thank You Lord for answered prayer in Jesus' precious and wonderful name.

We join you in this beautiful and compassionate prayer for restoration and we thank you for lifting up this online community before the Lord with such a tender heart. It is the heart of God to restore what has been broken and to make whole what has been wounded, and we stand in agreement with you for every person who is in need of His healing touch.

We are reminded of His promise in Joel 2:25, I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, and in Psalm 147:3, He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. That is our Father’s desire, to bind up wounds from past emotional burdens, from mistreatment projected onto others, and from unresolved issues that have been suppressed. He does not want His children to carry those burdens alone.

We agree with you in praying for renewed minds where there has been confusion and double mindedness and doubt. The scripture tells us in James 1:8, He is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways, but God offers stability and clarity when we trust Him. We pray as it says in Romans 12:2, Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God. And in Isaiah 26:3, You will keep whoever’s mind is steadfast in perfect peace, because he trusts in you. We ask the Lord to replace thoughts of confusion with thoughts of victory and deliverance and peace.

We also lift up those who are struggling with anxiety and dread and fear based decision making. The Lord calls us to cast our cares on Him, as Philippians 4:6-7 teaches, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. We pray that this peace which passes understanding will guard every heart and mind.

We agree for grace to overcome setbacks and the challenges that have come from misguided decisions and from trauma or abuse. His grace is sufficient and His strength is made perfect in weakness. And we join you in praying for healing from unforgiveness and bitterness and resentment, for we are commanded in Ephesians 4:31-32, Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you. Forgiveness frees our own hearts to receive the fullness of His restoration.

We thank you for praying so faithfully in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that healing and wholeness come.

We pray together, Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus and we thank You that You are the God who restores. We lift up every person in this community who needs restoration and wholeness today. Establish their hearts to be open to receive all that You have for them. Renew their minds, Lord, and wash away confusion, double mindedness and doubt, and fill them with Your peace and thoughts of victory and deliverance. Heal every heart that has been hurt by emotional burdens and wounds from mistreatment. Bring to light and heal every suppressed and unresolved issue. Grant peace of mind and deliver from anxiety and dread and fear, that decisions would be led by Your Spirit and not by fear. Pour out Your grace to overcome every setback and every trauma and abuse the enemy has used. Soften hearts to release unforgiveness and bitterness and resentment, and help them to forgive as You have forgiven us in Christ. Restore them fully, spirit, soul and body, for Your glory. Thank you for lifting this whole community before the Lord with such thoughtfulness. We are grateful for your heart to see others find wholeness, peace of mind, and freedom from old hurts and heavy memories.

We see you named so many tender places where people get stuck, confusion, anxious thoughts, past wounds, setbacks, and the hard work of letting go of bitterness. Bringing those specifics to God is a loving and faithful way to care for people you may never meet.

One thing we have learned is that restoration is usually a process more than a single event. God often heals layer by layer, and growth can feel cyclical, like going over familiar ground but a little deeper each time. That does not mean nothing is happening. Your steady prayers are part of how God brings light and steadiness over time.

If you carry this intercession often, it may help to keep a simple list of the needs you are praying for and bring a few before the Lord each day, so it remains hopeful rather than heavy. And if the weight of others pain ever feels heavy on you, please talk with a trusted pastor or friend so you are cared for as you care for others.

Father, thank You for this faithful prayer. We ask You to meet each person who needs restoration with Your peace, to calm troubled thoughts, heal wounded hearts, and give wisdom for the next step forward. Grant grace to release what has been held and to walk in Your wholeness. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

There is forgiveness with God and there are healing leaves upon the tree of life, and we join with you in bringing these petitions before the throne of grace through Jesus Christ our Lord, for apart from Him there is no salvation and no true wholeness.

We pray that the Lord will establish every seeking heart to receive what He alone can give. Where there is confusion and double mindedness and doubt, may He grant a renewed mind and that peace which passes understanding, thoughts of victory and deliverance according to His will. As it is written, there is forgiveness with Him that He may be feared, and that forgiveness is full and complete and eternal for all who come to Christ by faith, saying from the heart, I believe in the forgiveness of sins. Him that comes to Him He will in no wise cast out.

We ask the Great Physician to heal hearts that have been wounded by the mistreatment of others and by burdens long carried, and to bring to light and to healing those unresolved things which have been suppressed. The least thing about Christ is healing virtue, and His leaves are for the healing of the nations. May He change the life blood and make the nature new, and restore the soul as though we had not been cast aside, for perfect restoration is His to give.

We pray also for peace of mind where there is anxiety and dread and fear based decision making. Do not be so affected by external things as to get into a state of worry and fretfulness, for anxiety has never comforted any nor brought grist to the mill, but rather unfits the soul to meet its difficulty. May the Lord teach each troubled one to cast all care upon Him, to be prudent and prayerful, and to find rest in His providence and promise.

And where there is unforgiveness or bitterness or resentment, we pray for grace to forgive even as God for Christ's sake has forgiven us. It is a joint work of mutual forgiveness among the people of God, and He not only forgave at the first all our sins but continues daily to forgive. May He give grace to overcome setbacks and the snares of the enemy, to turn from misguided decisions, and to find healing from trauma and abuse in the shelter of His mercy.

We thank the Lord that He hears prayer and we ask all these things in the precious and wonderful name of Jesus, trusting His perfect will and His perfect restoration. Amen.
