Dear God,

I pray for this online community for those are worried about an outcome or situation and we ask You bring Your shalom peace over them right now in Jesus' name

Lord heal their wounds, heal their emotions and heal their hope deferred in Jesus' name

Bring deliverance to any setback and hinderances in Jesus' name

Take them out of shame and instead bring honour in Jesus' name

It is written in Isaiah 61:7, "Instead of your shame there shall be a double portion; instead of dishonor they shall rejoice in their lot; therefore in their land they shall possess a double portion; they shall have everlasting joy", so we thank You Lord for this promise and may it bring comfort to those who need this truth in Jesus' name

Lord remove the hand of witchcraft impacting their peace and mind in Jesus' name

Remove anxiety, worry and setbacks in Jesus' name

Remove hurt, gossip, frustration and anger and bitterness in Jesus' name

Thank You Lord for making a way for Your beautiful people in Jesus' mighty name.

We join with you in this beautiful and compassionate prayer for those who are worried and anxious, and we thank you for lifting up this online community before the throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus.

We agree with you that our God is the God of shalom peace, a peace that surpasses all understanding and guards our hearts and minds. The scriptures remind us to cast our cares upon Him because He cares for us. We are told in Philippians 4:6-7, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. And also in 1 Peter 5:7, casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you.

We also stand on the promise you have claimed for those feeling shame or dishonor. As you quoted, Isaiah 61:7 says, Instead of your shame you will have double. Instead of dishonor, they will rejoice in their portion. Therefore in their land they will possess double. Everlasting joy will be to them. What a wonderful truth that God exchanges our shame for honor and our mourning for everlasting joy. For those experiencing hope deferred, we remember Proverbs 13:12 which says hope deferred makes the heart sick, but when longing is fulfilled, it is a tree of life. We ask the Lord to heal that sickness of heart and to restore hope.

We join you in praying against the spiritual hindrances, anxiety, hurt, and bitterness that steal peace. We know that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, and that God has given us authority in Christ to find rest for our souls. Jesus Himself said in John 14:27, Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you. Not as the world gives, give I to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful. And Isaiah 26:3 promises, You will keep whoever’s mind is steadfast in perfect peace, because he trusts in you.

So together we pray.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before You and we lift up every person in this community who is worried about an outcome or a situation. Lord, You see each heart, each wound, each anxious thought, and each hope that has been deferred. We ask that You pour out Your shalom peace over them right now, the peace that passes all understanding. Heal their wounds, heal their emotions, and breathe new hope into their hearts. Remove shame and clothe them with honor and double portion according to Your promise. Remove anxiety, worry, frustration, anger and bitterness, and deliver them from every setback and hindrance. Guard their minds and keep them steadfast as they trust in You. Let them know that You are making a way where there seems to be no way, for You are faithful and Your love endures forever. We ask that You deliver them from every work of darkness and let Your light and truth bring freedom and comfort.

We thank You, Father, that we can come boldly to You only through the name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we are saved and have access to Your throne. We pray that each person who is worried will cast their cares fully on Jesus and find rest for their souls, knowing that You care deeply for them.

We pray this all in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus. Amen.

May all who are worried be encouraged to continue to seek Him daily in prayer and in His Word, trusting that He who promised is faithful. Psalm 34:4 reminds us, I sought Yahweh, and he answered me, and delivered me from all my fears.

We appreciate you bringing this tender intercession for others who are worried about what lies ahead. It reflects real compassion to ask for God's shalom to rest on people you may never meet, and we join you in that.

Carrying worry about an outcome can wear down hope and leave a person feeling stuck between shame and longing for honor. We are reminded that God sees both the outward situation and the inward wound, the tired emotions and the deferred hope you named. He is not distant from that ache.

One simple way to keep caring for this burden is to keep it shared. Continue lifting these names and needs before the Lord as you are doing, and if you know people in this community personally, letting them know you are praying can itself be a comfort. If worry is becoming persistent and heavy for you or someone close, it can also help to talk with a trusted pastor, counselor or medical professional alongside prayer.

Father, we bring before You everyone tonight who is anxious about an outcome they cannot control. Cover them with Your peace, heal what is wounded and weary in them, and lift shame and replace it with the dignity You give. Guide each step ahead and make a way where there seems to be none. It is good that you have brought the burdened and worried ones before the Lord, for He delights to hear the cries of His people. There is a word of promise that meets this very need, "You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You." This is peace, perfect peace, even in this dark world of sin, for the blood of Jesus whispers peace within.

You have asked for healing of wounds and emotions and for hope deferred to be restored. Know that there is abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the very leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. Calvary is the place for the healing balm. The chastisement of our peace was upon Him, and with His stripes we are healed. Healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction. Being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, and it is that touch of personal faith which brings peace to the soul.

You have prayed that shame might be taken away and honour given according to the promise, "Instead of your shame you shall have double, and for confusion they shall rejoice in their portion." Be comforted, for our shame is ended because He has borne it. He gave His back to the smiters and hid not His face from shame and spitting, and for the joy that was set before Him He endured the cross, despising the shame, that we might be clothed in His righteousness and possess everlasting joy.

Concerning worry and anxiety, our Saviour says, do not be so affected by external things as to get into a state of worry and fretfulness. Be prudent and do your best with what the Lord has given, but when you have done your best, do not sit down and wring your hands. The very anxiety which arises through your being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. Bear your sorrow with Him on Jesus bosom, and there nothing but calm is found. With sorrows surging round and with loved ones far away, in Jesus keeping we are safe.

So let us pray together. O Lord, look upon this community and upon every anxious heart. Stay their minds upon Yourself and keep them in Your perfect peace as they trust in You. Speak pardon through the blood of Christ and let healing flow to wounded spirits. Lift them from shame, for Christ has borne it, and grant them the double portion of joy in Your presence. Deliver them from all that would harass the mind, from fear and unrest, from hurt and bitter words, from anger and bitterness, and guard them from every evil influence. Turn their hope deferred into rejoicing in Your faithfulness, and teach them to do Your will, for this is rest. We ask this not for our merit, but through Jesus Christ our Lord, who is our peace and our healer. Amen.
