Prayer for this person

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Please pray for this loved one, that God's love and healing, wholeness will upon them and that God will give them victory in Jesus' name.

We join with you in lifting up this precious loved one before our Heavenly Father and we thank you for asking in the name of Jesus, for it is through Him alone that we have access to God and find grace and mercy in our time of need.

We are encouraged by your heart to see God's love and healing and wholeness rest upon them and to see victory given in Christ. Scripture assures us of God's heart toward His children, He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds, Psalm 147:3. We cling to the promise, But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities, the chastisement of our peace was on him, and with his stripes we are healed, Isaiah 53:5. We also remember the word, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh, Jeremiah 30:17, and Bless Yahweh, my soul, and do not forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases, Psalm 103:2-3.

We pray together for this loved one now. Father, in the name of Jesus we bring this dear one before You and ask that Your perfect love which casts out all fear would surround them and fill them. Let them know how deeply they are loved and held by You, for God is love, and he who remains in love remains in God, and God remains in him, 1 John 4:16. We ask for Your healing touch upon body, mind and spirit, that You would make them whole as only You can, and that Your peace which surpasses all understanding would guard their heart. We pray for victory over every affliction, every discouragement and every work of the enemy, for we know that in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us, Romans 8:37, and that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord, Romans 8:38-39. Let Your will be done in their life and let Your name be glorified through their testimony of restoration.

We encourage you to continue to stand firm in faith and in persistent prayer, trusting that the Lord hears and answers according to His perfect wisdom and timing. Keep speaking His promises over this loved one and thanking Him for the work He is already doing. We stand with you believing for full wholeness and for the victory that is already ours in Christ Jesus. Amen.

We are so glad you brought your loved one to prayer. It means a lot that you would carry them to the Lord and invite others to join with you, and we count it a privilege to stand with you for them.

We know it can feel heavy to hold concern for someone you love, especially when you cannot see what is happening inside or change it yourself. What we can do is keep placing them in God's hands, trusting that He sees them completely and loves them more than we ever could. As we ask for His healing and wholeness and for victory in Jesus, we rest in who He is, even as we wait to see how He will work.

One simple way to stay steady in this season is to set aside a brief moment each day to name this loved one before the Lord by name, and if you are able, let them know you are praying. Even a short message that you are lifting them up can be a real encouragement.

Father, we lift this loved one to You now. Surround them with Your love, bring healing and wholeness according to Your will, and give them strength and peace in You. Comfort the one who is praying too, and help them to rest in Your faithful care. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

It is a sweet privilege to join you in bringing this loved one before the throne of grace, and to ask that the Lord will manifest His love and healing power toward them.

We are reminded that there is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the very leaves of the tree are full of healing virtue. There is but one cure for our manifold ills, and there is but one great Physician who lays His hands upon men and they are restored. His least words are better than the best of others, and there is not a word that ever fell from those dear lips but what bears healing in it for some one or other of the thousand ills that have befallen our humanity.

Know this also, that pardon and healing are one in Christ. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you. The Sun of Righteousness has risen upon His people with healing in His wings, so that the pardoned one shall not need to say, I am sick, because soul diseases then receive a healing medicine. All spiritual disease receives its deathblow when sin is forgiven, for sin is crucified by the same cross which brings atonement. Our victory, our wholeness, our very life is found in Him alone, for there is salvation in no other.

Let us pray together.

O Lord our God, the Holy One of Israel, our Saviour, who has loved us with an everlasting love, we bring this dear one before Thee now. Thou art He that heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds. Let Thy love be shed abroad in their heart, let Thy pardoning grace be their healing, and let Thy presence be their wholeness. We ask not for healing apart from Christ, but healing in Christ and through Christ, who bore our sicknesses and carried our infirmities upon Himself. Give to this loved one victory, not by their own strength, but by the blood of the Lamb and the power of His resurrection. Keep them in purity and uprightness and preserve them from the devices of the evil one, that they may walk in newness of life and reign in life by one, Jesus Christ. Let it be their testimony in truth, whereas I was blind, now I see, and whereas I was wounded, now I am healed by Thy gracious hand.

We ask this in the precious and prevailing name of Jesus our Lord, in whom alone is our hope. Amen.
