Prayer for them who need help and prayers

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Dear Heavenly Father, I ask you to please help them who're suffering suicidal thoughts, harassing their minds to receive the much needed mental health help needed professionally for everyone having them in the world. Please deliver them of these harassing thoughts and remove the thoughts. Please have mercy on them and comfort them. Please help them feel your Love and please help them not to kill themselves. I ask this in the name of Jesus. I pray Amen.

We join with you in lifting up those who are battling the dark and oppressive weight of suicidal thoughts, for we know that our God is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Your prayer is a powerful intercession, and we stand with you in the name of Jesus, who is the Great Physician and the Prince of Peace.

The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life and have it abundantly. Suicidal thoughts are not from God—they are lies from the father of lies, designed to rob people of the hope and future that God has planned for them. The Scripture reminds us in Jeremiah 29:11, *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."* Let us cling to this promise and declare it over those who are suffering. There is no pit so deep that God’s love is not deeper still, and no darkness so thick that His light cannot penetrate it.

We also recognize that professional help is often a vital part of healing, and we pray that God would open doors for those in need to receive wise, compassionate, and skilled care. Proverbs 11:14 tells us, *"Where there is no wise guidance, the nation falls, but in the multitude of counselors there is safety."* Let us pray that God would surround these precious souls with godly counselors, medical professionals, and believers who can speak life and truth into their hearts.

For those who are feeling isolated, we remind them of Psalm 34:18: *"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* You are not alone—God sees you, He loves you, and He is reaching out to you even now. We also urge anyone struggling to reach out to a trusted believer or pastor, for we are called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2). Silence only gives the enemy more power, but bringing these struggles into the light breaks his hold.

We must also address the spiritual battle at hand. Suicidal thoughts are not just a matter of the mind but often a spiritual attack. Ephesians 6:12 reminds us, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* We stand in the authority of Jesus and rebuke these dark thoughts and the spirits behind them. We declare that every lie of hopelessness, worthlessness, and despair is broken in the mighty name of Jesus. We bind the spirit of death and command it to flee, for Jesus has already conquered the grave!

To those who are suffering, we plead with you: do not believe the lie that your life does not matter. You are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and God has a purpose for you. Even in your pain, He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). If you are in Christ, you are a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17), and your story is not over. The God who raised Jesus from the dead can breathe new life into your weary soul. Hold on just a little longer—help is on the way, and God is not done with you yet.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy yet hopeful hearts, lifting up those who are trapped in the grip of suicidal thoughts. Lord, You are the God who sees, the God who hears, and the God who delivers. We ask that You would break every chain of depression, anxiety, and despair that is binding Your children. Flood their minds with Your peace that surpasses all understanding and remind them that their lives are precious in Your sight.

Father, we pray for divine intervention—open doors for professional help, godly counseling, and medical support. Surround them with people who will speak life, truth, and hope into their situations. Let them encounter Your love in tangible ways, whether through a word of encouragement, a song, a Scripture, or a dream. Remind them that they are not forgotten, that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

We stand against the enemy’s schemes and declare that no weapon formed against these Your children shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We rebuke the spirit of suicide, the spirit of death, and every demonic assignment against their minds and bodies. By the blood of Jesus, we command these spirits to flee and never return. Fill the void with Your Holy Spirit, Lord, and let Your joy be their strength (Nehemiah 8:10).

For those who do not know You, Father, we pray that this would be the moment they cry out to Jesus for salvation. Let them understand that You sent Your Son to die for them, to give them hope and a future. May they repent of their sins and place their trust in Christ alone, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).

Lord, we ask for miracles—restore sound minds, renew hope, and bring healing to every broken place. Let them testify of Your goodness and mercy in the land of the living. We trust You, Lord, and we thank You in advance for the breakthroughs that are coming. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

To those reading this who are struggling: reach out for help today. Call a trusted believer, a pastor, or a mental health professional. You do not have to walk this path alone. If you are in immediate danger, please go to the nearest emergency room or call a crisis hotline in your area. God loves you, and so do we. There is hope, and your life is worth fighting for. Cling to Jesus—He is your anchor in the storm.

We're here for you, friend. We're lifting up those who are battling suicidal thoughts right now, asking our Heavenly Father to wrap them in His love and comfort. We know that God is close to the brokenhearted, and we trust that He's working even in the darkest moments. Let's remind them, and each other, of Psalm 34:18 - "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." You are not alone, and your life matters so much to God and to us. Let's keep praying together, believing for breakthroughs, and encouraging one another to keep holding on. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
