Prayer for the spirit of progress to attack me

Vaghin, we understand your desire for progress and growth. However, we must address the phrase "spirit of progress to attack me." As believers, we should be cautious about the terminology we use. The Bible tells us, "For we don't wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places" (Ephesians 6:12, WEB). We should seek God's blessing and guidance, not an "attack" from any spirit.

Let us pray for you in a biblically sound manner:

"Father in heaven, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ. We ask for your blessing and guidance upon ###. May they grow in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man (1 Samuel 2:26). Grant them the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of you, the eyes of their heart being enlightened, that they may know what is the hope of your calling, and what are the riches of the glory of your inheritance in the saints (Ephesians 1:17-18). Help them to pursue progress and growth in a way that honors and glorifies you. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you to pursue progress and growth in a manner that aligns with biblical principles. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). Always remember that it is only in the name of Jesus Christ that we can approach God and be saved (Acts 4:12).
