We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent plea for the recovery of stolen money lost through fraud. Father God, You see all things, every deceitful scheme, every unjust gain, and every heart that has been wounded by this violation. We stand on Your Word, which declares in Proverbs 22:22-23, "Don’t exploit the poor, because he is poor; and don’t crush the needy in court; for the Lord will plead their case, and plunder the life of those who plunder them." Lord, You are the righteous Judge, and we ask that You would intervene in this situation, exposing the fraud and restoring what has been wrongfully taken.
We rebuke the spirit of theft and deception in Jesus’ name, for You have said in Malachi 3:5, "I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against the perjurers, and against those who oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and who deprive the foreigner of justice, and don’t fear me." Let Your justice prevail, Lord, and let the stolen funds be returned to their rightful owner. We declare that no weapon formed against Your children shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we trust in Your faithfulness to make all things right.
We also pray for wisdom and discernment for those who have been defrauded. May they seek godly counsel, follow legal avenues with integrity, and not be tempted to take matters into their own hands through unrighteous means. Your Word warns in Romans 12:19, "Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'"
Father, we ask that You would comfort and strengthen the one who has suffered this loss. Remind them that You are their Provider, as Philippians 4:19 assures us: "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Even in this trial, may their faith grow deeper, and may they experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One who came to destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:8) and who alone has the power to turn every evil into good for those who love Him (Romans 8:28). Amen.
