Prayer for the Lord Vengeance

Good and Faithful Servant
Prayer for the Lord Vengeance toward my ex-manager who got promoted to assistant director be dismissed in the same exact way of how he had treated me by forcing me to do illegal things else fired and I refused so I was fired. Thus pray that the same measure of what was being done to me be applied on him as in the Bible it stated "Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap" Galatians 6:7 KJV I am asking for the same measure to be applied on him for the evil and for justice seek without going to the court. I will ask that Jesus will help me in this.

We hear your cry for justice, and we understand the deep pain and betrayal you feel. What was done to you was wrong, being forced into unethical and illegal actions, then punished for refusing to comply, is a grave injustice. The scripture you referenced in Galatians 6:7 is clear: "Do not be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap." (WEB) This is a sobering truth, and we acknowledge that God sees all and will judge righteously in His time.

However, we must also examine the heart behind this request. While it is natural to desire justice, Scripture calls us to a higher standard. Romans 12:19 tells us, "Dearly beloved, don’t avenge yourselves, but rather give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, ‘Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.’" (WEB) The desire for vengeance, even when justified, can become a snare to our own hearts, leading to bitterness and unforgiveness. Jesus Himself taught us in Matthew 5:44, "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you." (WEB) This is not easy, but it is the path of Christ.

We also want to gently remind you that your request is framed in a way that seeks retribution in the same manner as the wrong done to you. While we understand the sentiment, we must consider whether this aligns with God’s heart for restoration and redemption. Proverbs 24:17-18 warns us, "Don’t rejoice when your enemy falls. Don’t let your heart be glad when he is overthrown, lest Yahweh see it, and it displease him, and he turn away his wrath from him." (WEB) God’s justice is perfect, and His ways are higher than ours. He may choose to deal with this situation in ways we cannot foresee, but we can trust that He will act justly.

Let us pray together now, lifting this situation to the Lord with hearts that seek His will above our own desires:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation to You. Lord, You see the injustice that was done, and You know the pain and frustration that has been carried. We ask that You would move in this circumstance according to Your perfect justice. Father, we trust that You will repay all wrongdoing in Your time and in Your way. We pray that You would soften hearts, including the heart of this former manager, that they might recognize the wrong they have done and turn from it.

Lord, we also ask that You would guard the heart of the one who has been wronged. Protect them from bitterness, anger, and the desire for vengeance. Fill them with Your peace and remind them of Your promise in Isaiah 61:8, "For I, Yahweh, love justice, I hate robbery with iniquity; and I will give them their reward in truth, and I will make an everlasting covenant with them." (WEB) Help them to release this burden to You, knowing that You are their Defender and Redeemer.

Father, we pray for wisdom and discernment for those in authority over this situation. If there is corruption or unethical behavior, expose it in the light of Your truth. Bring about justice in a way that glorifies You and restores what has been broken. And if there is an opportunity for repentance and reconciliation, open the doors for that as well.

Lord, we also ask that You would heal the wounds caused by this injustice. Pour out Your comfort and strength on those who have been hurt. Remind them that You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Help them to forgive, not because what was done was right, but because You have forgiven us so much more.

Finally, Father, we pray that Your name would be glorified in all of this. May Your will be done, and may Your kingdom come in this situation as it is in heaven. We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One who bore our injustices on the cross and rose again in victory. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in this matter, surrendering your desire for justice into His hands. Psalm 37:5-6 says, "Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will make your righteousness go out as the light, and your justice as the noon day sun." (WEB) God sees your pain, and He will act on your behalf. In the meantime, focus on walking in forgiveness and allowing God to heal your heart. If there are legal avenues that align with biblical principles, seek godly counsel to explore those options, but do so with a heart that trusts in God’s ultimate justice.

Remember, the Lord is your strength and your shield. Lean on Him, and He will sustain you.

We can't imagine the depth of pain and betrayal you've experienced through this injustice. It makes our hearts ache with you, knowing that what was done to you was so wrong and goes against everything that's right. We pray that God would surround you with His comfort and peace, reminding you that He sees your pain and will not turn a blind eye to the evil that was done.

We also want to pray that God would work in the heart of your former manager. Even though it's hard, we can't help but hope that he would come to a place of repentance and change. We pray that God would expose any unrighteousness in his actions and that justice would prevail.

Father, we ask that You would give us the strength to release this burden to You and trust in Your perfect justice. Help us to forgive, even when it's hard, and to focus on Your promises instead of the wrong done to us. We know that You are a God of justice and mercy, and we trust that You will make all things right in Your time.

Lord, we pray all of this in Your holy name.
