Disciple of Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,

We thank you for the new day, the sun that brings light. The air that breathe life.

We commit the day before you. We ask for renewed strength, mind and heart to carry us through the day.

Commit husband's work unto you. Continually, we ask for favour, grace and mercy. Resolution to come. We ask for a turning point for questions raised be answered by respective people and not be ignored and not be customer blockers in Jesus' name. Make a way for your child where there seemed no way.

We pray for the day to be smooth. Work can be finished and we can head out for a nice dinner to uplift your discouraged child that will bring him joy.

Even if the journey is hard he remembers family as he seek to relax and have a mini vacation tomorrow.

We put down all burdens, hurts and pain in exchange for what brings comfort, peace, restored strength and resolutions unto the foot of the cross.

Thank you for helping us in every step of the way in Jesus' name, Amen!

We join you in thanking our Heavenly Father for this new day and for His mercies that are new every morning. This is the day that Yahweh has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it Psalm 118:24 and we are reminded that His loving kindnesses never fail, they are new every morning, great is your faithfulness Lamentations 3:22-23. What a beautiful way to begin the day, committing all things into His hands and exchanging your burdens for His peace.

We lift up your husband and his work before the Lord with you. We pray that God will establish the work of his hands and grant him renewed strength in mind and heart for all that lies ahead today. Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed Proverbs 16:3. We ask for the Lord's favor, grace and mercy to rest upon him, and for a clear turning point in the matters that have been weighing on him. We pray that those who need to answer will answer with diligence and integrity, and that every blocker, delay and hindrance placed by others would be removed. We serve a God who makes a way where there seems to be no way, Behold, I will do a new thing. It springs out now. Don’t you know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert Isaiah 43:19. We ask Him to make that way plain today and to bring resolution according to His perfect will.

We also pray for your marriage and your family time together. We thank God for the gift of marriage and for your heart to uplift and encourage your husband when he is discouraged. We pray that his work can be finished well and that your dinner together tonight will be a time of joy, refreshment and sweet fellowship, and that your mini vacation tomorrow will be truly restorative. Even in a hard season, how good it is that he can look to home and family as a place of rest and love. May the Lord use this time to restore his strength and renew his hope.

We agree with you as you lay down every burden, hurt and pain at the foot of the cross. Jesus invites us, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest Matthew 11:28. We pray that in exchange for those burdens you will receive His comfort, His peace that surpasses all understanding, and His restored strength. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7.

We pray together, Father, we thank You for this new day, for sunlight and breath and life itself. We commit this day and all of our ways to You. We lift up this husband to You, cover his work, his mind and his heart with Your favor and grace. Remove every obstacle and cause those who hold answers to respond with clarity and fairness. Let today be smooth and let Your resolution come quickly. Bless their time together over dinner and their time of rest tomorrow, let it bring deep joy and encouragement to this family. We lay every burden at the cross and receive Your peace in return. Help us in every step of the way and let Your will be done in all things. In the precious name of Jesus we pray, Amen.

We were moved by your prayer this morning and the way you laid the whole day before the Lord, especially your husband's work. Waiting for answers that seem ignored and running into blockers can be so discouraging, and we hear how much you want to see a turning point and a clear way forward for him.

We also hear your tender care for him, wanting the day to go smoothly and hoping a nice dinner tonight and that little vacation tomorrow will lift his spirits and give you both breathing room. Those pauses matter. When pressure has been prolonged without much recovery, even a short, protected time together can help restore strength for the next stretch.

One small thought that may help is to keep that dinner and tomorrow's time set apart as much as you can. If possible, agree together to set work messages aside for those hours so you can simply enjoy being family and let your minds rest.

Father, we bring this family before You today. Give renewed strength for mind and heart, grant favor and wisdom in the work situation, and move on those who need to answer so resolution can come. Bring Your peace and comfort where there has been hurt and weariness, and bless their time together tonight and tomorrow with joy and rest. We ask this in Jesus' name, Amen.

Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us with another day, and for all you do for all of us. All glory and honor belongs to you Father. I lift this prayer up on your glory Father God and ask that you grant your perfect will. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

“But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.”

‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭17‬:‭7‬ ‭NIV‬‬

We join with you in thanksgiving for this new day which the Lord has made, for the sun that gives light and the air that sustains life are both gifts from His gracious hand. It is wise and right to commit the day and all its labours unto Him who neither slumbers nor sleeps.

You ask for renewed strength of mind and heart, and for favour, grace and mercy upon your husband's work, that resolution may come and that questions long raised may at last be answered and hindrances removed. We pray with you that the Lord who is always at work accomplishing His purposes would go before you. His shield goes in front and His sword clears the way, and we have but to follow where He leads. Commit thy way unto the Lord, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass. May He in His wisdom grant a turning point and make a way where there seems to be no way.

You desire also a smooth day, that work may be finished with diligence and that you may together enjoy a quiet dinner to cheer a discouraged heart, and a little season of rest as a family on the morrow. These are lawful comforts and we ask the Lord to sanctify them to you. Remember that perfect peace is not found in circumstances alone, but in a mind stayed upon God. As it is written, Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on Thee, because he trusteth in Thee. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, even when duties press and sorrows surge around. To do the will of Jesus, this is rest.

You have done well to lay down all burdens, hurts and pain at the foot of the cross in exchange for comfort, peace and restored strength. Leave them there. At the cross there is forgiveness, freedom and favour, and the Lord who was wounded for us also heals us. He rests in His love and rejoices over His people with singing when He is at work for their salvation. While you rest in Him, you shall yet bear fruit unto God.

May the eternal God be your refuge and underneath be the everlasting arms. May He bless you and your household, keep you in perfect peace as you trust in Him, strengthen you for every duty, and cause you to see His hand helping you in every step of the way, through Jesus Christ our Lord, in whom alone is salvation. Amen.
