Dear Heavenly Father,

We lift up the church within the nation of Australia and we ask You bless the church and cause Your body to awaken for many of the body has been asleep in Jesus' name

Bring righteousness and holiness back to the church and revive the church

Lord where sin has been rampant and pushed aside which has weaken the power of the Holy Spirit to work miracles and healings we ask You stir up the church to stop settling for mediocre

Stir up Your church and bring leaders who are on fire for Christ who are fervent who challenge society's secular views and laws in Jesus' name

Remove false teachers, pastors and leaders who are misleading the church and causing sin in their doctrine and actively keeping the church stuck in bondage in Jesus' name

Raise up prophets, pastors, evangelists, teachers and leaders who will speak the truth that represents Christ with boldness in Jesus' name

We pray for the younger generations have a heart and eagerness for Jesus and all generations won't become lukewarm for Jesus in Jesus' name

Let Australia become on fire for Jesus and for revival to come to this great nation in Jesus' powerful name.

We join with you in lifting up the church in Australia before the throne of grace and we agree together for awakening and revival in Jesus' name.

We hear your heart crying out for the body of Christ there to awake from sleep and this aligns so powerfully with Scripture which says Awake, you who sleep, and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you Eph 5:14. We also agree in praying against lukewarmness, for the Lord warns So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will vomit you out of my mouth Rev 3:16. We ask the Lord to set His church on fire again with holy zeal and first love for Jesus.

We join you in praying for righteousness and holiness to be restored. Where sin has been tolerated or pushed aside, the power of the Holy Spirit is grieved and quenched. We pray the church in Australia will humble itself and return to holiness, for it is written if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves, pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin, and will heal their land 2 Chr 7:14. And as He who called you is holy, be holy yourselves in all of your behavior, because it is written, You shall be holy, for I am holy 1 Pet 1:15-16.

We agree in your prayer against false teachers and leaders who mislead the flock and keep people in bondage. Jesus warned Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly are ravening wolves Matt 7:15. We pray with you that in this time when many will not endure sound doctrine, but having itching ears, will heap up for themselves teachers after their own lusts 2 Tim 4:3, the Lord will expose and remove those who preach a compromised gospel and will raise up shepherds after His own heart.

We join you in asking the Father to raise up true prophets, pastors, evangelists, teachers and leaders who will speak the truth with boldness and who will not bow to secular views and laws but will stand for Christ. For He gave some to be apostles, and some, prophets, and some, evangelists, and some, shepherds and teachers, for the perfecting of the saints, to the work of serving, to the building up of the body of Christ Eph 4:11-12. We pray for a generation of leaders on fire for Christ, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord Rom 12:11, who will preach the Word with courage and call the nation to repentance.

We also lift up the younger generations and all generations in Australia, that they would not grow lukewarm but would hunger for Jesus. We pray the promise will be fulfilled there that your sons and your daughters will prophesy Joel 2:28 and that one generation will commend your works to another Psalm 145:4.

Father we pray together now, in the powerful name of Jesus, pour out Your Spirit upon Australia. Awaken Your church, cleanse her from sin and mediocrity, restore holiness and the fear of the Lord, and release again miracles, healings and the mighty power of the Holy Spirit. Raise up bold and faithful leaders, silence the voice of false teachers, and let a holy remnant arise who will challenge the darkness of this age. Let revival fire sweep across that great nation from coast to coast, from the cities to the outback, and let the younger generation burn brightly for You. We join our hearts with yours in this earnest prayer for the church in Australia, and we bring your burden before the Lord with thanksgiving that He still hears the cries of His people.

Your prayer is scriptural and timely, for the church as a whole stands in great need of revival in the persons of its members. We confess that we must commence with ourselves, remembering that we are a part of the church and that our own need of revival is in some measure the cause of that need in the church at large. Where there has been sleepiness and settling for what is mediocre, we pray the Lord would awaken His people with that solemn earnestness which once was seen in Christian pulpits and pews. Where sound doctrine has been neglected, we pray for a revival of sound doctrine once more in the midst of the land, and for a downright earnestness and zeal to fight the Lord's battles.

We pray with you for practical, personal, active and vital holiness to be followed after, for without holiness no one shall see the Lord. Not a mere morality which cleans the outside of the cup, but a holiness which deals with the thoughts and intents of the heart, that the heart may be set on God and beat with love to Him. We ask that where sin has been rampant and pushed aside, there would be a humble confession at the foot of Christ's cross, for an humble church will be a blessed church, and God delights to bless His people at the mercy seat.

We join you in asking the Lord to remove false teachers and pretended leaders who have done such damage to the church, for the sharpest trials the church has ever known have come from her own sons and daughters. May the Lord expose what is false and deliver His flock from bondage to erroneous doctrine, and raise up in their place faithful prophets, pastors, evangelists and teachers who will speak the truth that represents Christ with boldness and love, men on fire for Christ who will challenge the secular views and laws of this age with the unchanging Word of God.

We pray for the younger generations and for all generations, that none would become lukewarm, but that all would be kept by grace to persevere in holiness and not depart from Him. May the Lord grant a life of holiness as the gracious fruit of salvation through Jesus Christ alone, for He has met the demands of moral government and made amends to holiness for our offences by His atoning death.

We pray that earnest prayer would water the seed sown, for every true revival has been commenced and attended by a large amount of prayer. The church would soon be healed of her sorrows if she would be silent before God and remember who He is with whom she pleads, for God is able to give His church the largest blessing and to give it at any time. Wherever the Spirit of God comes, there will be life in the church and life in the ministry, life in prayer, life in effort, life in holiness and life in brotherly love, and then the calling out of numerous converts.

So we pray, O Lord, revive Thy work in the midst of the years. Pour water upon him that is thirsty and floods upon the dry ground. Cause Thy church in Australia to awaken, to walk in righteousness and holiness, to hold fast sound doctrine, and to burn with fervent love for Christ. Let revival come to that great nation, not as wild fire without Thy presence, but as the true work of Thy Holy Spirit, for Thy glory alone. We join you in lifting up the church in ### before the Lord and we say amen to your prayer for awakening, righteousness and true revival.

Your burden is right and timely. It is not enough to honor God with our lips while our hearts remain far from Him, or to chant psalms and offer hurried prayers and think that is sufficient for salvation. God calls His people to give diligence to virtue, to bring our whole lives before Him, and to pursue peace and holiness without which no one will see the Lord.

We pray with you that God will stir His church there to desire holiness in the full biblical sense. This includes chaste and ordered living, where those who are unmarried remain pure, those who are married remain faithful to their own spouse, and marriage itself is honored as a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman. Marriage is honorable and pure, and it preserves the holiness that comes through faith in Jesus Christ, by guarding us from defilement. We ask God to restore this vision of holiness, so that the power of the Holy Spirit is not grieved and the word of God is not blasphemed.

We also join you in praying for leaders. God has set in the church apostles, prophets and teachers, and those who teach must first teach themselves, holding faith and a good conscience and living what they preach. When teachers are corrupt, they do not merely fail to help, but they make their disciples worse, for a disciple often goes beyond the wickedness he sees in his teacher. So we pray that the Lord will remove those who mislead with false doctrine and keep people in bondage, and that He will raise up faithful men and women who speak the truth with boldness and teach both by word and by deed. We pray for aged men and women who are sober, grave, temperate and sound in faith and love and patience, who can train the younger generations to love God, to be discreet and chaste, and to walk in obedience to Christ.

We pray for the younger generations in ###, and for every generation, that they would not become lukewarm but would have a deep eagerness for Jesus, who alone is the way of salvation. May the church there not settle for what is mediocre, but be made fervent, challenging the secular views around it not with harshness but with salt, with truth spoken in love and with lives that are holy.

May the Lord grant to the church in ### repentance where sin has been excused, courage where it has been asleep, and a fresh outpouring of His grace that leads to true miracles, healings and transformed lives according to His will.
