Prayer for my husband to attend Church Service

Shinebright

Disciple of Prayer
Goodmorning my true brothers and sisters in Christ. I thank God for Jesus Christ who is my Lord and Savior. I come asking you all to join me in prayer for my husband attending church today at the same church I attend to received the Word of God fellowshipping with true believers in Christ Jesus. I know according to God’s Will when this shall happen and I pray in Faith it will happen. In Jesus mighty name I pray that my husband has an undeniable desire to attend church today and that nothing keep in from going, not even any excuses from anyone else or even within his own heart thoughts that he be guarded from any lies of the enemy and fight the good fight of Faith and attend church. I pray he is aware of the purpose as to why we assemble to the House of the Lord and that it’s not routine however a desire to be amongst other believers in Jesus Christ. He lives really close to the church location so I pray that makes it even more desire because it won’t cost much to get there and if I have to get him an uber to get there I will without hesitation. In Jesus powerful name Amen

We thank God with you for Jesus Christ who is your Lord and Savior and we rejoice to join you in prayer for your husband and for your marriage which God has ordained. We stand with you in faith believing that God desires for husbands and wives to walk together in unity and to grow together in the knowledge of His Word.

We are encouraged by your desire for your husband to fellowship with true believers and to hear the Word of God, for faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ Romans 10:17. Scripture reminds us not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching Hebrews 10:25. There is great joy and strength when we gather together, as it is written I was glad when they said to me, Let us go to Yahweh's house Psalm 122:1, and where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them Matthew 18:20. We also remember that a wife's godly conduct and prayers can have a powerful influence, as wives, be in subjection to your own husbands, so that, even if any don't obey the Word, they may be won by the behavior of their wives without a word 1 Peter 3:1.

We join you in praying against any hindrance or lie of the enemy and asking God to give your husband an undeniable desire to attend.

Father in heaven, we come before You together in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, and we lift up this husband to You. We ask that You soften his heart and place within him a deep and joyful desire to assemble with Your people today to hear Your Word. Guard his heart and mind from every excuse, every distraction, and every lie of the enemy. Help him to resist the devil so that he will flee from him James 4:7, and to fight the good fight of faith. Lord, reveal to him the purpose of gathering in Your house, not as mere routine, but as a living fellowship with Christ and with fellow believers who love You. We pray You make the way clear for him to come, and that You stir him to come willingly and eagerly, whether the distance is short or provision is needed. Draw him closer to You and strengthen this marriage that it may honor You, for You have called husbands to love their wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly and gave himself up for it Ephesians 5:25. Let Your will be done in his life and let Your Word take root in his heart. In Jesus' powerful name we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to continue in steadfast faith and gentle love, trusting God's perfect timing while remaining fervent in prayer. Continue to invite him with grace and without pressure, letting your joy in the Lord and your love for His house be a testimony to him. The Lord hears the prayers of His people and He is faithful to work in hearts according to His will. We will keep standing with you, believing God will draw your husband into deeper fellowship with Christ and with His church.

We're so encouraged by your love for Jesus and for your husband, and by the faith you bring to this prayer. Longing to sit together in church and hear the Word among other believers is a beautiful desire, and we hear how earnestly you have been lifting him up.

We know how heavy it can feel when you want this for today and wonder what might hold him back. One thing that has helped many in your place is to keep the invitation warm and simple and then give God room to work in his heart. You've already prayed with such care. It can be good to tell him once, kindly and clearly, that you would love for him to come with you, that the church is so close and you are happy to arrange a ride if he would like it, and then let him decide without revisiting it through the morning. That keeps pressure low and protects your fellowship together, while trusting the Lord with the outcome.

We are joining you in prayer today.

Father, thank You for this wife's love for You and for her husband, and thank You for this husband whom You know and love. We ask You to gently draw his heart toward You and toward fellowship with Your people in Your timing and will. Quiet any distraction or hesitation, and give him a clear sense of Your presence. Give his wife peace as she trusts You today and encourage them both in Your love. In Jesus' name, Amen.

We join you in prayer before the throne of grace and thank God with you for Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, through whom alone we have access to the Father and fellowship with Him.

Your desire for your husband is a right and affectionate desire, that he may have fellowship with you and with the people of God, for truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ. It is a good thing to love the house of God and to value the means of grace, not despising the assembling of ourselves together, but longing to be among true believers to hear the Word of God, to pray, and to worship Him in spirit and in truth.

We pray with you that the Lord will work in your husband's heart to give him an earnest desire to go up to the house of the Lord, not as a matter of routine, but for God's sake, to seek His face and to hear His voice. We ask that the Lord will guard his heart and mind from every excuse, from every lying suggestion of the enemy, and from that natural resistance which would keep a man from the place where conscience is awakened and the Gospel is heard. May nothing keep him from going, and may he know the purpose for which we assemble, that we might worship the living God with a joyful and tender fear and be built up together in Christ.

We pray also that you may be kept in faith and patience, knowing that it is the Lord who must add to the assembly and draw the heart. Though he lives near to the place of meeting, and though you would gladly provide what is needed for him to get there, we know that nearness of place cannot give nearness of heart. Only the Spirit of God can create a hunger for His Word and for the communion of the saints. So we ask God to do that gracious work within him, to incline him to love what you love, to desire what the Lord desires for him.

May the Lord bless your home and make it a place of prayer, and may your public worship and your home worship strengthen one another. Continue to fight the good fight of faith, to testify with love, and to look to Christ to do what only He can do.

Together we pray: Our Father, we ask in the mighty name of Jesus that Thou wouldst put within this husband a true and undeniable desire to attend Thy house today and to receive Thy Word among Thy people. Remove hindrances, silence excuses, and guard his thoughts from the deceits of the evil one. Draw him by Thy Spirit to love Thy presence, to seek fellowship with Christ and with Thy saints, and to find there grace and help. Let Thy will be done, and let Christ be glorified in this family. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We thank God with you for Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior and we join you in prayer for your husband today.

Your desire for him to come with you to the house of the Lord to hear the Word of God and to fellowship with other believers is good and right, for Scripture calls us not to neglect assembling together but to encourage one another in Christ. We pray with you in faith according to God's will that the Lord would stir in your husband an undeniable desire to come, that He would guard his heart and mind from distraction, excuses, and the lies of the enemy, and that He would give him a clear understanding that gathering with the church is not mere routine but a joyful privilege to hear God speak through His Word and to be built up with His people.

We pray that the Lord would remove every hindrance, and that if it is helpful for you to provide transportation, God would use that kindness as an expression of love. Above all we pray that your husband would come to know and love Christ more deeply, for salvation is through Jesus alone, and that your marriage would be strengthened as a lifelong covenant before God.

We encourage you to continue to walk in faith, gentleness and quiet trust, showing respect and love in your home, for God often uses the faithful witness of a wife to draw a husband toward Himself. Keep praying, keep hoping in the Lord's timing, and keep welcoming your husband with grace.

Let us pray together. Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your Son Jesus Christ. We ask in Jesus mighty name that You would work in this husband's heart today, give him a hunger for Your Word, protect him from every excuse and discouragement, and draw him to gather with Your people. Let him hear Your voice in the preaching of Scripture and find joy in fellowship with true believers. Work in this marriage for Your glory and for their good. In Jesus powerful name we pray, Amen.

Thank you for sharing your heart and your faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. God hears the prayers of His people, and even when we do not know how to pray as we ought, the Spirit Himself helps our weakness and makes intercession according to the will of God. Your trust in the will of God and your desire to fight the good fight of faith for your husband is pleasing to the Lord.

Scripture gives a clear picture of marriage. The husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, and the church is subject to Christ. In the same way wives are called to be subject to their own husbands as unto the Lord, and husbands are called to love their wives as Christ loved the church and gave Himself for it. This love is a picture of Christ and His body, for a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife and they shall become one flesh. This is a great mystery that speaks of Jesus and His church. When a wife has a husband who does not yet share her faith, or who is hesitant to walk with the Lord, she is not to leave him if he is pleased to dwell with her. The unbelieving husband is sanctified by the believing wife, and God can use her faithful life and quiet submission and prayer as a testimony of His grace in the home.

The reason we gather together is not mere routine. Jesus said those who worship Him must worship in spirit and in truth. When believers come together the purpose is the building up of the whole body, for edification and exhortation and comfort. One may worship and praise God personally with the help of the Spirit for his own benefit, but when the church gathers the desire should be for what builds up all. That is why all things are to be done decently and in order, so that if an unbeliever comes in the secrets of his heart are made known and he may fall down and worship God and declare that God is truly among His people.

It is right to ask the Lord to place an undeniable desire in your husband's heart to be among the people of God and to hear the Word, and to guard him from the lies of the enemy and from excuses within or without. God alone can create that desire, and true desire to seek Him and to be with His people comes from the work of the Spirit, not from convenience or pressure. That you live near the place where believers meet is a practical blessing, and your willingness to help with the cost of getting there shows love, but the deeper need is a spiritual hunger that only God can give. Continue to pray that your husband will understand the purpose of assembling together, not as habit but as a joyful desire for fellowship with those who trust in Christ and for the cleansing and sanctifying work of the Word.

God is patient as He waits for the full harvest, and He often works in His own timing. Keep loving your husband, respecting him as head of your home, and living before him the love of Christ who gave Himself for the church. Do not grow weary in praying, and do not try to force what only the Spirit can do. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything bring your requests to God and trust Him to work.

Let us pray together. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we thank You for Your mercy and for the gift of salvation through Him alone. We bring this husband before You and ask that You would draw his heart to Yourself and give him a genuine desire to gather with Your people to hear Your Word and to worship You in spirit and in truth. Guard his mind and heart from the lies of the enemy and from every excuse that would keep him away. Help him to see the beauty of fellowship and the need to be built up and encouraged together with other believers. Give his wife grace to walk in love and submission as unto You, to be a faithful witness in her home, and to rest in Your will and Your timing. Work in this marriage to reflect the mystery of Christ and the church, that You would be glorified in both lives. We ask this in Jesus mighty name, amen.
