Prayer for the authorities as to enforce compliance and the necessary corrective

Dexter2020

Faithful Servant
Prayer for the authorities as to enforce compliance and the necessary corrective actions to the companies who had abused me by contract breaches, workplace safety violations, and disparate treatment of local versus foreign workers. NTT Data / NHG Incident (2025) Breach of Fixed-Term Contract: I was engaged on a one-year contract. This was terminated prematurely on the pretext of "lack of work." However, this was a fraudulent claim, as the role was immediately re-advertised on the NTT Data website, proving the work existed. Coerced Policy Violation: During my tenure at NHG, I was forced by NHG management to perform API development using their internal systems. This was a direct violation of NTT Data’s corporate security policies. NHG knowingly compelled me to bypass established protocols, creating a significant security risk. Legal Proceedings & HR Irregularity: During the legal inquiry into this matter in 2025, the HR representative involved resigned during the court reading. This sudden departure suggests an admission of internal failure or an attempt to avoid accountability for the irregular termination. 2. Jobline Resources / NCS Incident (2019) 1. Incident Overview (January 2019) During my tenure at NCS via Jobline Resources, I was subjected to extreme working hours that far exceeded standard industry practices and human safety limits. While my contract stipulated standard hours, I was coerced into working from 08:30 to 03:00 (18.5 hours per day), seven days a week. This was not a "mutual agreement" as later claimed; it was a mandatory requirement imposed under duress. 2. Medical Consequences and Employer Negligence As a direct result of this 115+ hour work week, I suffered from severe dehydration and physical exhaustion, leading to emergency hospitalization. The employer failed in their Duty of Care under the Workplace Safety and Health Act by maintaining a schedule that made physical collapse inevitable. 3. Pretextual Termination (Probation Failure) Following my hospitalization, the company cited a "failure to pass probation" as the grounds for termination. I contend that this was a pretextual dismissal. The termination was not based on professional incompetence, but was instead a direct reaction to my medical inability to continue working illegal/unsustainable hours. Using "probation failure" was an excuse to avoid accountability for the physical harm caused during my employment. 4. Disparity in Treatment I observed a significant disparity in how labor standards were applied. While I, as a Singaporean PMET, was pressured into these extreme hours without the protection of Part IV of the Employment Act, other segments of the workforce such as foreign PMET were shielded from such abuse. This suggests a targeted exploitation of my specific employment status at the time.

We come before the Lord with a heavy heart, lifting up this matter of grave injustice in the workplace. Father, we know that You are a God of righteousness and justice, and You see every wrong that has been committed. The scriptures tell us in Proverbs 22:22-23, "Don’t exploit the poor, because he is poor; and don’t crush the needy in court; for the Lord will plead their case, and plunder the life of those who plunder them." Lord, we stand on Your Word and ask that You would bring justice to this situation.

We rebuke the fraudulent termination of the one-year contract under the false pretext of "lack of work," only for the role to be immediately re-advertised. This deception is an abomination in Your sight, and we pray that the authorities would enforce compliance and hold those responsible accountable. In Colossians 3:25, it is written, "But he who does wrong will receive again for the wrong that he has done, and there is no partiality." We pray that the truth would be revealed and that restitution would be made.

We also lift up the coerced violation of corporate security policies, where management compelled an employee to bypass established protocols, creating significant security risks. Lord, this reckless endangerment is not only a breach of trust but also a violation of the standards You have set for integrity and wisdom. We pray that those who knowingly engaged in this misconduct would be exposed and that proper corrective actions would be taken to prevent such negligence in the future. Proverbs 10:9 says, "He who walks blamelessly walks surely, but he who perverts his ways will be found out."

The extreme working hours imposed—18.5 hours a day, seven days a week—are a blatant violation of workplace safety and human dignity. Father, we know that You designed us to labor, but also to rest, as commanded in Exodus 20:9-10, "You shall labor six days, and do all your work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the Lord your God. You shall not do any work in it." The physical and emotional toll of such exploitation is a grievous sin, and we pray that the authorities would enforce the necessary corrective measures to ensure no worker is subjected to such cruelty again.

We also bring before You the disparity in treatment between local and foreign workers. Lord, Your Word declares in James 2:9, "But if you show partiality, you commit sin, being convicted by the law as transgressors." This targeted exploitation is an affront to Your justice, and we pray that those who have perpetuated such discrimination would be held accountable.

We rebuke the pretextual termination following hospitalization, where the company used "probation failure" as an excuse to avoid accountability for the harm caused. This is a perversion of justice, and we pray that the truth would prevail. Proverbs 17:15 states, "He who justifies the wicked, and he who condemns the righteous, both of them alike are an abomination to the Lord."

Father, we ask that You would strengthen the authorities to enforce compliance with labor laws and workplace safety regulations. May those who have been complicit in these injustices be brought to repentance, and may the victims receive restitution and healing. We pray for wisdom and courage for those in positions of oversight, that they would act with integrity and fairness.

We also lift up the individual who has suffered these injustices. Lord, we ask that You would heal their body, mind, and spirit. Restore to them what has been lost and grant them peace in the midst of this storm. In Psalm 34:18-19, You promise, "The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all."

Finally, we declare that all these actions were done without the acknowledgment of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach You and the only name by which we can be saved. Acts 4:12 reminds us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." We pray that those involved in these injustices would come to know Christ as their Lord and Savior, that their hearts would be transformed, and that they would seek to make amends in accordance with Your will.

We commit this matter into Your hands, trusting that You will bring justice and restoration. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
