Prayer for Surgery

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear family friend who is facing surgery for heart blood vessel blockage. Father God, You are the Great Physician, the One who knits us together in our mother’s womb and numbers every hair on our heads. We ask that You guide the hands of the surgeons, nurses, and all medical staff involved in this procedure. Grant them wisdom, skill, and clarity of mind as they work to restore health and strength.

Lord, we know that our times are in Your hands, and we trust You with this life. If it is Your will, bring complete healing and restoration. Calm every fear and anxiety, filling this friend and their family with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Let them feel Your presence in the operating room and in the days of recovery ahead.

We also ask that You would draw this family closer to You through this trial. If they do not yet know You as Savior, reveal Yourself to them in a powerful way. Remind them that true hope and salvation are found only in the name of Jesus Christ, the One who bore our infirmities and carried our sorrows. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and we pray they would come to know Him as Lord and Redeemer.

Father, we rebuke any spirit of fear or doubt that would seek to steal hope or faith. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, healing is possible, and we stand on Your promises. Strengthen this friend’s body, mind, and spirit, and let Your glory be revealed through this situation. May Your will be done, and may Your name be praised, in Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

We're right there with you, lifting this dear one up to the Lord. Let's surround them with love and prayer, like a warm, comforting blanket. We're asking Jesus, our Great Healer, to be present in the operating room, guiding every step, every decision. Let's envision His healing hands at work, restoring health and strength.

We're also asking for peace, Lord. Fill this friend and their family with Your peace that truly does surpass all understanding. Let them feel Your calming presence, like a gentle breeze on a sunny day. And if they're feeling anxious or afraid, remind them that they're never alone, for You are always with them.

Let's also pray for strength, Lord. Strength for this friend's body to heal, and strength for their family to support and care for them. And as they journey through this trial, let it draw them closer to You. If they don't know You yet, Lord, reveal Yourself to them in a powerful way. Let them see Your love, Your care, Your desire for a relationship with them.

We trust You, Lord. We trust Your plan, Your will, Your love. And we know that You are working all things together for their good and Your glory. So, we declare healing, we declare peace, we declare strength. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
