Prayer for strength, son protection

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Lord Jesus, please step into this wall of confusion. Break through the bureaucratic red tape and the misunderstandings of this hospital staff. I ask that You give me a clear, firm voice today to demand the rights given to me to protect my son. Bring a person of authority at that facility who understands the law and will open the door to his medical updates immediately. Quiet my racing heart, Lord, and give me the endurance to fight for his welfare today. In Your precious name, Amen.

We join you in this battle for your son and we bring your burden before the throne of grace together in Jesus' name. We hear the exhaustion and the holy urgency in your voice as a parent standing in the gap for your child, and we honor your desire to protect him. God has entrusted children to parents as a heritage and a stewardship, as we are reminded in Psalm 127:3, and He honors a parent's righteous advocacy for their child's welfare.

We pray that the Lord will indeed break through this wall of confusion and bureaucratic red tape. We are reminded that the heart of those in authority is in Yahweh's hand like watercourses, He turns it wherever He desires in Proverbs 21:1. We ask Him to turn the heart of the right person in authority at that facility toward you today, someone who knows the law and will act justly and quickly to open the door to the medical updates you are rightfully seeking. We also pray for the hospital staff, that any misunderstanding would be cleared and that they would act with clarity, compassion and integrity.

We also lift up your own heart before the Lord. It is right to be firm and clear when advocating for your son, and we pray God gives you that clear, firm voice seasoned with grace, so that your speech may be always with grace, seasoned with salt in Colossians 4:6. At the same time we ask the Lord to quiet your racing heart and to be your strength. He says in Isaiah 41:10, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. And in Philippians 4:6-7 we are told, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

We pray together now.

Father, in the precious name of Jesus we step into this situation with our brother or sister and ask for Your divine intervention. Lord Jesus, step into that hospital and make a way where there seems to be no way. Remove the obstacles, cut through the red tape, and appoint a person of authority who will listen, understand, and immediately grant access to this parent's rightful medical updates for their son. We ask for wisdom for every doctor, nurse and administrator involved, as You promise in James 1:5 that if any lacks wisdom to ask of You. Protect this precious son, Lord, place Your hand upon him and let him dwell in the shelter of the Most High and rest in the shadow of the Almighty in Psalm 91:1. Give this parent supernatural peace to quiet their racing heart, and endurance to continue to fight for their son's welfare today with courage and love. Let Your will be done and let Your peace rule. We ask all this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our only access to the Father and our true source of strength, Amen.

We encourage you to keep pressing in with both prayer and persistent, respectful advocacy. Keep documenting, keep asking, and keep trusting that God is your ultimate advocate and your son's ultimate protector. He is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble in Psalm 46:1. We will continue to stand with you for breakthrough, for peace, and for your son's complete welfare.

We have been thinking of you as you stand in that hard place between love for your son and a wall of paperwork and people who do not seem to hear you. It is exhausting to have to fight to be heard when all you want is to care for him well, and we admire your determination to stay steady for his welfare.

One thing that often helps in a hospital setting is to ask specifically for the person whose job is to bridge that gap. If you have not already, you might ask the front desk or charge nurse for the patient advocate or social worker on duty and ask to speak with the attending physician or nursing supervisor directly. Having your identification and any paperwork that shows your relationship and rights at hand, writing down your two or three most urgent questions beforehand, and bringing a trusted friend to take notes can make it easier to keep a clear, firm voice when emotions run high and to leave with written answers.

We also noticed you mentioned your racing heart as you carry this. Please be gentle with yourself today and if that continues, consider letting your own clinician know as well as you keep praying.

Father, in Jesus name we lift this parent and son to You. Quiet this racing heart and give endurance for today. Guide them to the right person of authority who will listen and open the door to the updates needed, and give clarity and calm strength with each conversation. Keep this son in Your care and let Your peace guard this family. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We have heard your cry in this hour of confusion and we join you at the throne of grace, asking the Lord to be your strength and your defense.

You have asked for a clear and firm voice, for a quieted heart, and for endurance to contend for your son, and for a door to be opened through the tangle of rules and misunderstandings. We have taken these very petitions before the Lord Jesus, who is able to make a way where no way appears. He will come punctually at the moment which shall be best for His own glory and for your good, and He stands at your side even now with His pierced hand to sustain you. Take courage, for Christ is with you in this work.

The Scripture gives you a sure promise for such a day as this. They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. Your strength does not lie in yourself, for the believer has no strength but that which comes from God. He is the glory of your strength, and in His favour your horn shall be exalted. Therefore wait upon Him for teaching and for help, and He will increase strength to them that have no might. What you need for your walk this day and for the work He has given you to do, the power to do it must come from Him, and He will give it.

It is written, as thy days, so shall thy strength be. It is not, as thy fears, so shall thy strength be. God often leaves us to feel our fears, but never to bear our troubles alone. Your day may be full of trouble and temptation, but your strength shall be full of deliverance. Though your hands hang heavy and you must look up many times and cry, O Lord, give me more strength, He will reinforce you as the duty requires, and that gradually as you continue to wait and to pray. The joy of the Lord shall be your strength, and your peace shall be as a river as you rest in Christ.

Let us pray together.

Our Father, in the precious name of Jesus we bring this parent before Thee and this beloved son under Thy care. Quiet the racing heart and still the inward turmoil, and let Thy peace rule. Grant a clear, firm and gracious voice to speak for this child, and let that voice be heard. In Thy providence bring a person of authority in that facility who understands what is right and lawful, to open the door to the medical updates needed for his welfare. Break through every wall of confusion and every hindrance of red tape, and let mercy and truth prevail. Give endurance for this day and for every day Thou shalt appoint, that this parent may walk and work in strength supplied from above. Keep this son under the shadow of Thy wing, and let Thy healing and protecting hand be upon him. We ask this trusting in Christ alone, our only hope and life. Amen.
