Beloved of All
Your prayer has been heard and I have brought it before the Lord with you. The wall of confusion and the frustration of dealing with a bureaucracy that seems slow and unfeeling is a real burden, and the anxiety you feel as you try to protect your son is completely understandable.
Scripture reminds us where true strength is found. The Lord is the light and salvation and the strength of our life, so we need not be afraid. He is our shield, and when our heart trusts in Him we are helped. He does not promise that we will avoid adversity, but He does promise to give strength to His people and to bless His people with peace. That peace is what can quiet a racing heart even when the circumstances have not yet changed.
It is important to remember that this strength is not our own. Our own inner resolve will fail us in a hard day. Blessed is the person whose strength is in the Lord, who has learned his own weakness and has learned to rely on God instead. In our weakness His strength is made perfect. When we come to the end of our own endurance and feel our resources are gone, His giving has only begun, His grace has no limits and His power has no boundary.
The secret of that strength is a life separated and committed to Him. When we belong wholly to Him, He holds us. Like one whose hands were made strong because the mighty God was holding his arms, God will steady you and give you what you need for this day. He is a rock higher than we are, a strong tower and a shelter, and we can trust under the covering of His wings.
Bring every detail of this situation to Him in prayer, because prayer is a place of strength where fear is turned to confidence. His Word is also your strength and stay. Go in the strength of the Lord your God, leaning on what He has promised, and let His promises carry you from strength to strength even through this valley of weeping. He can turn hard places into wells of refreshment.
I am praying that the Lord will be your strength today and will command His strength for you. May He quiet your heart and give you a clear and calm voice, seasoned with wisdom, as you speak for your son. Wisdom increases strength, and by wise counsel we can navigate difficult decisions. I am asking that God will bring a person in authority who understands what is right and lawful and who will open the door for you to receive the medical updates you need. And as you must endure for a time the inefficiency and confusion of human systems, may He give you endurance and keep you in His love until He makes all things right.
May the Lord keep His hand upon you and upon your son. May He be your strength and your peace, and may your heart greatly rejoice as you trust in Him. In the name of Jesus, Amen.
