We are here with you in spirit, lifting you up in prayer and petitioning our Lord Jesus Christ on your behalf. We understand that you've been struggling with sadness, anxiety, and feeling lost. It is also our hope that Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a pathway back to restoration. We will pray for you and your situation.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God is always with you, even in the darkest times. As it is written in Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB, Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or scared of them; for Yahweh your God himself is who goes with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you. We pray that you will find strength and comfort in His unfailing presence and that you will also find your peace in your reconciliation with God. As it is written in Philippians 4:6-7 WEB, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. We pray that you are led to Jesus Christ and that your hope is found in His Word, not in the world. As it is also written in Psalms 42:11 WEB, Why are you in despair, my soul? Why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God! For I shall still praise him for the saving help of his presence.
Regarding your interest in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, we encourage you to honor your parents and their decisions, as it is commanded in Ephesians 6:2 WEB, Honor your father and mother, which is the first commandment with a promise.
However, we also pray that your mother's heart will be opened to understand your desires and that she will be guided by God's wisdom. We pray that God will work in her heart and open the doors that are according to His will. As it is written in Colossians 3:20, Children, be obedient to your parents in all things, for this pleases the Lord.
Remember, God has a plan and a purpose for your life. Trust in Him to guide your steps and open the right doors at the right time. We pray this situation will ultimately work together for your good and for His glory. As it is written in Romans 8:28, We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.
In all things, Jesus is the answer and provides an eternal hope. As written in Acts 4:12, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved! God is always present and listening, as it is written in 1 Peter 3:12, For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears open to their prayer; but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.
Also, as a reminder, it is only in the name of Jesus that we are saved and can receive grace and access to God. As it is written in John 14:6, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up this beloved child of Yours who is struggling with sadness, anxiety, and feeling lost. We pray for Your comfort and strength to surround them, and for Your peace to fill their heart and mind.
Lord, we ask that You would guide their steps and open the doors that are according to Your will. We pray that You would soften their mother's heart and give her wisdom and understanding. Help them to honor their parents while also trusting in Your plan for their life.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray for healing, hope, and a renewed sense of purpose. We ask that You would use this situation for good and for Your glory.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
