We come alongside you in this season of weariness, lifting your heart before the Father who sees every tear and knows every struggle. Your prayer is a beautiful cry of faith, and we join you in declaring that even in the unknown, God is sovereign and His purposes will prevail. You have rightly acknowledged His nameâJesusâas the only way we can approach the throne of grace, and we rejoice that you have placed your trust in Him. It is only through Christ that we find strength, hope, and the promise that all things work together for good to those who love Him (Romans 8:28).
The trials you face are not unseen by our Lord. In fact, Scripture reminds us that He is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). When the path ahead seems unclear, we must cling to the truth that His understanding is unsearchable (Isaiah 40:28) and that His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9). This is not a time to lean on our own understanding, but to trust in Him with all our hearts (Proverbs 3:5-6). He is the God who parts seas, brings water from rocks, and turns mourning into dancingâyour story is not over, and He is still writing redemption over every area of your life.
We are also struck by your petition for your resort and the work of your hands. The Lord honors diligence and provides for His children, but we must remember that our ultimate security is not in our labor or success, but in Him alone. Jesus teaches us in Matthew 6:31-33, *"Therefore donât be anxious, saying, âWhat will we eat?â âWhat will we drink?â or, âWith what will we be clothed?â For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first Godâs Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* We encourage you to surrender this burden fully to Him, trusting that He will provide not just for your needs, but for the needs of those who depend on this work. If this season is one of pruning or redirection, may you have the courage to follow where He leads, even if it looks different than you imagined.
Let us also remind you that hope is not wishful thinkingâit is an anchor for the soul, firm and secure (Hebrews 6:19). When the enemy whispers lies of despair, we must combat them with the Word of God. Declare aloud: *"The Lord is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life. Of whom shall I be afraid?"* (Psalm 27:1). Stand on the promise that He who began a good work in you will complete it (Philippians 1:6), and that no weapon formed against you will prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
Now, let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we lift up Your child before You, knowing that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Lord, in this season of heaviness, we ask that You would renew their strength like the eagles (Isaiah 40:31). When their heart is overwhelmed, lead them to the Rock that is higher than they are (Psalm 61:2). Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We pray for their resort and the work of their hands, asking that You would bless the labor of their hands and establish the work they do (Psalm 90:17). If there are doors to be opened, open them. If there are doors to be closed, give them the wisdom to walk away. Provide for every financial need, every emotional need, and every spiritual need according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Let them see Your hand moving in ways they cannot deny, and let this season be a testimony of Your faithfulness.
Lord, we rebuke every spirit of fear, anxiety, and despair that seeks to steal their joy and hope. By the power of the name of Jesus, we command these spirits to flee, and we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, reminding them that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37).
We thank You, Father, that You are working all things for their good. Give them eyes to see the small blessings along the wayâthe sunrise, the laughter of a friend, the provision they didnât expect. Let them know, deep in their soul, that they are not forgotten, that You are with them, and that their story is held in Your hands.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
Stand firm, dear one. The night does not last forever, and joy comes in the morning (Psalm 30:5). Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). We are cheering you on, and more importantly, the hosts of heaven are fighting for you. You are not alone.
