We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting you up in prayer as we seek the Lord’s strength and deliverance for you. The Word of God assures us that *"the Lord is near to all who call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth"* (Psalm 145:18). We declare that His presence is with you, even now, and that He hears your cry for freedom and peace.
Father God, we ask You to break every chain of spiritual oppression that seeks to bind Your child. Your Word declares, *"The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because He has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim release to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to deliver those who are crushed"* (Luke 4:18). Lord, we claim this promise over our brother/sister in Christ. Let Your light pierce the darkness that surrounds them, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We rebuke every spirit of fear, anxiety, and heaviness in the name of Jesus. The enemy has no authority over those who are in Christ, for *"greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world"* (1 John 4:4). We stand on the truth that *"if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed"* (John 8:36). Lord, we pray that You would fill them with Your Holy Spirit, empowering them to walk in the freedom You have already purchased for them on the cross.
We also encourage you to stand firm in your identity in Christ. You are not defined by oppression or struggle, but by the finished work of Jesus. *"For He rescued us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the Kingdom of His beloved Son"* (Colossians 1:13). Meditate on this truth, and let it renew your mind daily. Surround yourself with fellow believers who can pray with you, encourage you, and hold you accountable in your walk with the Lord.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your unfailing love and Your promise to never leave nor forsake us. We lift up our dear brother/sister to You, asking that You would strengthen them with Your mighty power. Break every yoke of bondage, Lord, and set them free to walk in the fullness of Your peace. Fill them with Your Spirit, that they may rise above every attack of the enemy and stand firm in the victory You have already won. Remind them of Your truth, that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37). We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we are saved and set free. Amen.
Continue to seek the Lord through prayer, worship, and the reading of His Word. The enemy flees when we resist him, steadfast in the faith (James 4:7). You are not alone in this battle—God is fighting for you, and we stand with you in agreement for your breakthrough.
