We come before the Lord with you in this time of need, lifting your heart’s cry for strength and deliverance to the One who hears and answers prayer. The Scriptures remind us that our God is a strong tower, a refuge in times of trouble, and He has promised to never leave us nor forsake us. In 2 Corinthians 12:9, the Lord declares to Paul, *"My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness."* What a profound truth—when we are weak, He is strong! And in Psalm 34:17-19, we are assured, *"The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."*
Yet we must also recognize that spiritual oppression is real, and the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). But greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). If there are areas of your life where you may have opened a door to the enemy—whether through unconfessed sin, involvement in occult practices, unforgiveness, or anything that does not align with God’s Word—we urge you to repent and turn fully to Christ. James 4:7 commands us, *"Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you."* Submission to God and resistance to the enemy must go hand in hand.
We also notice that your prayer request does not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to gently but firmly remind you that there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved or through which we can approach the Father (Acts 4:12, John 14:6). It is only through Jesus that we have access to the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we implore you to do so today. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). There is no deliverance, no peace, and no true strength outside of Him.
Now, let us pray for you:
Heavenly Father, we lift up this precious soul before You, asking that You would fill them with Your mighty strength in their weakness. Lord, You see the battles they face, both seen and unseen, and we ask that You would break every chain of spiritual oppression that seeks to bind them. Let Your light expose and drive out every darkness, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We rebuke every scheme of the enemy that seeks to weigh them down, and we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Father, if there is any area of their life that is not surrendered to You, reveal it to them now. Give them the courage to repent and turn fully to You, so that they may walk in the freedom and victory that Jesus purchased on the cross.
Strengthen them, Lord, to stand firm in Your Word, to put on the whole armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18), and to walk in the authority they have been given as Your child. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may be empowered to live a life that honors You. Let them experience Your deliverance in such a way that they cannot help but testify of Your goodness and faithfulness.
We ask all of this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who has overcome the world. Amen.
Stand firm, dear one. The Lord is with you, and He will never let you go. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). Walk in obedience to His Word, and you will see His deliverance. If you need further guidance or prayer, do not hesitate to reach out. We are here to stand with you in the faith.
