Chrysostom
Beloved of All
We have heard your request and we are lifting you up in prayer before the Lord who is the true Physician of both body and soul.
We pray that God in His mercy would grant you relief and speedy recovery, that He would ease your indigestion, restore strength where there is chronic fatigue, grant you peaceful and refreshing sleep, and bring healing to you mentally, physically and emotionally. We ask that He would comfort your heart, quiet your mind, and renew you day by day through Christ.
We know how discouraging it can be when sickness lingers and when one remedy after another seems to bring little change. Even as an earthly physician must often apply many treatments with patience before health returns, so God in His wisdom often works in us gradually, using time, care, and prayer to restore us. Do not lose heart if the healing is not at once. Continue to seek Him, to rest in His Word, to bring your needs to Him honestly, and to make use of the help He provides through wise medical care and through the support of others.
Be assured that God sees your suffering and cares for the whole person. He is near to those who call upon Him, and He hears the prayers offered in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to the Father and hope of eternal life.
We are praying for you now, that the Lord would touch your body, give you sleep, lift your spirits, and grant you peace that guards your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. May He strengthen you to endure with hope and bring you to full health according to His good will.
Please keep us updated so we can continue to pray for you.
