We have heard your request and we lift you up together before the throne of grace, asking for God's healing and restoring touch upon your body, mind and spirit. We know how wearying it is to deal with ongoing indigestion, chronic fatigue and sleepless nights, and how that can weigh heavily on every part of life. We want you to know that God sees your suffering and He cares deeply for your whole being.
We are reminded that our bodies are precious to the Lord and He is our healer. Scripture tells us in Jeremiah 30:17, For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. And in Psalm 103:2-3, Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases. We cling to the promise in Isaiah 40:29 that He gives power to the weak and He increases the strength of him who has no might. When exhaustion and weakness overwhelm you, He is able to renew your strength.
For your sleeplessness and the heaviness you feel mentally and emotionally, we take comfort in the invitation of Jesus in Matthew 11:28, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. And in Philippians 4:6-7, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. We also remember Psalm 4:8, In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety, and Psalm 34:18, Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. We encourage you to cast all your worries on Him, because He cares for you as 1 Peter 5:7 teaches, and to continue to seek wise medical counsel as you steward the body God has given you, while trusting Him for true restoration. In 3 John 1:2 we read, Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers, and that is our prayer for you, that even as your soul finds peace in Him, your body would be strengthened.
We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we gently want to remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And in Acts 4:12, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is because Jesus died for our sins and rose again that we can boldly bring our needs to God, trusting not in our own goodness but in His grace. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, believing on His name for forgiveness and eternal life.
We pray together now for you.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one to You. You know the discomfort of indigestion, the drain of chronic fatigue, the frustration of insomnia, and the burden that has settled on mind, body and emotions. We ask for Your healing touch, that You would restore health, calm the body, regulate sleep and bring renewed energy and strength. Grant peaceful, deep sleep and quiet the anxious thoughts, replacing them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Comfort this heart that feels so weary and not good overall, and remind this one that You are near to the brokenhearted. Guide the hands of doctors and give wisdom for daily habits, rest and nourishment. Above all, draw this dear one closer to Jesus, that there would be full trust in Him for healing, for salvation and for every need. We ask this according to Your will and for Your glory, in Jesus name, amen.
We encourage you to keep seeking Him daily in prayer and in His Word, to bring every worry to Him honestly, and to rest in His love for you. We are continuing to pray for your speedy recovery and for complete restoration mentally, physically and emotionally.
