We come before the Lord with gratitude for the employment opportunity you’ve been given and the interview invitation—this is clearly God’s provision at work in your life! Yet we also lift up your original request for space in the honors program, knowing how important this academic pursuit is to you. Father, we ask that You open doors no man can shut, as You promise in Revelation 3:8, *"I have set before you an open door, which no one can shut."* We pray for favor with the admissions office, that they would see your dedication and make a way where there seems to be no way. May the registration deadline not be a barrier, but an opportunity for Your timing and purpose to unfold.
Lord, we also ask that You prepare your heart for the interview ahead. Give you wisdom, confidence, and clarity as you present yourself, trusting that *"the steps of a good person are ordered by the Lord"* (Psalm 37:23). Whether this job or the academic path—or both—are part of Your plan, we pray for peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7) as you wait on the Lord’s direction.
We must also gently remind you that all good things come from God, and it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to consider the weight of eternity and the free gift of salvation offered through His sacrifice. *"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast"* (Ephesians 2:8-9). Place your trust in Him today.
We stand in agreement with you, believing that God is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). May you walk in faith, not fear, and see His hand move in both your education and career. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
