Prayer for salvation and healing for my mother

My mother ### is hard of hearing, she has iniquity from her mother's blood line for hearing. Please pray for the divine miracle of her hearing to be restored, and for her to experience the sight and hearing of the words of Jesus. She is in need of learning about Him and our Father's promises. As a preacher's daughter, she has been a lost sheep and needs to be found. In Jesus name, Amen

We join you in lifting up your mother before our Father in heaven and we thank you for bringing her before the throne of grace with such love and faith.

We hear your burden for both her physical hearing and her spiritual hearing, that she would truly hear and see the words of Jesus and come to know Him and our Father's promises for herself. We know it can be especially heavy to watch one who grew up as a preacher's daughter yet has wandered as a lost sheep, but we take comfort that our Shepherd seeks the one who is lost. As it is written, What man among you, if he has one hundred sheep, and loses one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness, and go after the one that was lost, until he finds it Luke 15:4. We rejoice that the Lord has not forgotten her and that you are standing in the gap for her.

We want to gently address what you shared about iniquity from her mother's bloodline for hearing. We understand the concern for generational patterns, but Scripture gives us assurance that in Christ each person stands before God individually and that Jesus has broken every curse. The soul who sins, he shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father Ezekiel 18:20, and Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us Galatians 3:13. We do not need to fear an inherited iniquity that Christ cannot overcome, for His blood covers all sin and His power is greater than any family history of affliction. We rebuke any lie that your mother is bound by her bloodline beyond the reach of Jesus, and we declare that healing and salvation are available to her directly through faith in Him.

We also remember that being raised in a Christian home does not itself bring salvation. Each of us must personally believe and confess Jesus as Lord. As it is written, if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved Romans 10:9. Our prayer is that your mother would hear the gospel clearly and respond with her own faith.

We pray with you for a divine miracle of restored hearing, for nothing is impossible with God. The prophet declared, Then the eyes of the blind will be opened, and the ears of the deaf will be unstopped Isaiah 35:5, and of Jesus it was said, He has done all things well. He makes even the deaf to hear, and the mute to speak Mark 7:37. We ask the Lord to touch her ears physically if it is His will, and even more that her spiritual ears would be opened, for faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ Romans 10:17. Jesus said, My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me John 10:27. We long for her to hear His voice and follow Him.

We pray together now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we can be saved and no other way to Your throne. We lift up this precious mother to You. Lord, You know her hearing loss and You know the history of her family, and we ask for Your mercy and healing hand upon her. If it is Your will, restore her physical hearing as a testimony of Your power and compassion. Above all, open her spiritual eyes and ears that she may see and hear Jesus, understand Your promises, and receive the gift of salvation. Draw her as a lost sheep back to the Shepherd, convict her heart, soften what has grown hard, and let her hear the good news that You so loved the world that You gave Your only Son. We ask that You place a hunger in her to learn of You, to read Your word, and to know Your faithfulness. Use her child who is praying so faithfully to speak with love, patience, and truth, and surround her with witnesses who will share Christ without ceasing. We declare that the curse is broken at the cross and that Your love is pursuing her even now, for You are not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance 2 Peter 3:9. Heal, save, and restore her for Your glory, Lord. We trust her into Your caring hands and thank You for hearing our prayer. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to share the word of Christ with her lovingly and patiently, to read Scripture aloud to her, to pray with her when she allows it, and to trust the Holy Spirit to do the work only He can do. Keep interceding, for the prayer of the righteous is powerful and effective. We stand with you believing that God is able to restore both hearing and heart.

Thank you for sharing your heart for your mother with us. We hear how deeply you love her and how much you long for her to know Jesus for herself and to know the hope of the Father's promises, and for her hearing to be restored. We are honored to join you in prayer for her.

It is hard to watch someone you love struggle to hear, especially when your greatest desire is for her to hear the good news. We know it can feel especially heavy that she grew up as a preacher's daughter and still feels far from the Lord. God sees her whole story, and He is the Shepherd who seeks those who are wandering. Your faithful love and prayers for her matter, even on days when you cannot see the fruit.

A gentle next step that often helps is to meet her where she can receive best right now. If hearing is difficult, try sitting face to face in a quiet place where she hears clearest, or writing out a short promise about Jesus in large print to share together. A few unhurried minutes like that can keep the door open without pressure. And alongside praying for a miracle, we gently encourage helping her stay connected to her doctor or hearing specialist for her hearing care if she is able.

Father, we lift ### to You in Jesus' name. Draw her to Yourself, open her heart to see and hear Jesus and to receive Your grace, and touch her hearing according to Your perfect will. Give her peace and give this family wisdom, patience and encouragement as they love her well. Amen.

Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. We have heard your burden for your mother and we bring it with you to the mercy seat, where our God delights to hear the cries of His people for those who are yet afar off.

It is a tender sorrow that she who was brought up as a preacher's daughter should be as a lost sheep, hearing but not hearing, and needing to be found. Yet we remember the prodigal, of whom it is written, the father saw him and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him in much love. That much kissing meant much love, much forgiveness and full restoration, and it revealed exceeding joy in the father's heart. So it shall be if your mother turns to the Father through Christ, for He receives the returning one not as a hired servant, but as a dear child, and there is music and dancing over one sinner that repents.

You ask for the healing of her hearing, and we join you in praying that the Lord who made the ear would in His sovereign mercy restore it if it be His gracious will. But we pray with still greater earnestness for that hearing which only God can give. We are told in the Word that there are those who have ears but hear not, and that the Lord must give a heart to perceive and ears to hear. Remember that spiritual life is only from God. No man gets saved by a careless or forgetful hearing. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. Therefore we pray that she may take heed how she hears, that she may hear the Gospel not as the word of man, but as a great message from God, and so listen with all her heart that it may be salvation unto her.

Know this, that salvation is by Divine Grace through faith in Christ Jesus alone. The Scripture says, Whoever believes on Him shall not be ashamed. It is not by blood line, nor by the merit of a father or a mother, nor by price or preparation of our own, for it is offered without money and without price. It is simply to look unto Him and be saved, all the ends of the earth. How simple and how instantaneous is that way, to look to Jesus who was laid in Zion for a foundation, to trust in Him and rest upon Him.

Let your prayer therefore be that God would open her ears to hear the voice of His Son, that she would incline her ear and come unto Him, and that hearing, she may live. Pray that the Word may be brought to her hearing, that faith may be begotten in her by the Word, and that she may know herself forgiven, restored, and beloved.

We now pray with you. O Lord God of our salvation, have mercy upon this mother. Thou hast power to open the deaf ear and to give the hearing ear to the soul. Work a miracle of grace within her, give her eyes to see and ears to hear the words of Jesus, and draw her by Thy Spirit to look unto Christ and be saved. Forgive her many sins, restore unto her the joy of Thy salvation, and let her know the full restoration of a child welcomed home. Grant physical mercy according to Thy perfect will, and above all grant eternal mercy through the blood of Jesus. Bring this lost sheep into the fold, that there may be joy in Thy presence over her return. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our only Saviour, Amen.

Continue to set the Word before her, to pray without ceasing, and to trust the Father who runs to meet the returning prodigal.

We have heard your request and we join you in bringing your mother before the Lord in prayer.

We pray for the healing of her hearing, that God in His mercy would restore what has been weakened, and that He would grant her physicians wisdom and her body strength. We know that every good gift comes from Him, and we ask Him to show His power and compassion in her life according to His perfect will.

We pray even more earnestly for the hearing that is needed for salvation. The Scriptures teach that faith comes by hearing the word of Christ, and that careful hearing and continual remembering of that word is necessary for us. It is not enough to have heard about the Lord once, even as a preacher's daughter, but each person must herself hear and receive Him. We pray that now would be the acceptable time and the day of salvation for her, that her ears and her heart would be opened to hear the gospel, to understand the promises of the Father, and to trust in Jesus Christ alone for salvation. He alone is the way of salvation, and His death is the salvation of the world.

We ask that the Lord would draw this lost sheep to Himself, that she would have ears to hear what He is saying, and that she would turn to Him in repentance and faith and find new life in Him. We pray that as she hears the words of Jesus she would be comforted, strengthened, and made whole both in body and in soul.

Father, we lift this daughter to You. Restore her hearing if it be Your will, and above all open her eyes to see and her ears to hear Your Son. Bring her into Your fold, keep her in Your grace, and let her know the mercy and salvation that are in Christ alone. We pray this in the name of Jesus, our only hope. Amen.
