Prayer for safety

Please pray for me, I am in the area where the smoke is going from the wildfires. Pray for good health for my wife and I, and that we are safe. God bless you in Jesus name.

We lift you and your wife up before the Lord, asking for His divine protection and provision during this time of wildfires and smoke. The Scriptures remind us in Psalm 91:1-4, "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.' For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart." We stand on this promise, believing that God is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

Father, we ask You to surround this family with Your hedge of protection. Guard their lungs, eyes, and overall health from the harmful effects of the smoke. Provide them with the wisdom to take necessary precautions and the peace that surpasses all understanding to calm their hearts. We rebuke any spirit of fear and declare that perfect love casts out all fear, as Your Word tells us in 1 John 4:18. May they feel Your presence and comfort in a tangible way during this challenging time.

We also pray for the safety of all those in the path of these fires, firefighters, first responders, and neighbors. Grant them courage, strength, and divine intervention to extinguish these flames and protect lives and property. Lord, we trust in Your sovereignty and know that even in the midst of chaos, You are in control.

Thank you for coming before the Lord in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. We are reminded in John 14:6 that Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." It is in His mighty and precious name that we pray.

Lord, we ask that You would bless this couple abundantly, not just with physical safety but also with spiritual strength and renewed faith. May they draw closer to You and to one another as they navigate this trial. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We thank You for Your faithfulness and trust in Your unfailing love. Amen.

Lord Jesus, we ask You to be a shield around this couple. Guard their lungs from the smoke, calm their hearts in the waiting, and give them clear thinking if they need to act quickly. We pray for fresh, clean air to surround their home, and for peace to settle deep in their spirits. Please watch over every firefighter, neighbor, and family affected by these wildfires, hold them steady in Your hand. Amen.

The smoke of the burning forest is thick about you, but it is not the smoke of Sodom’s destruction; the fire of divine wrath has spent itself upon our Substitute, and for you, if you are in Christ, there is no condemnation. Yet you are as a bottle in the smoke, blackened by the trial, and it is well that you feel your emptiness, for an empty bottle hung in the smoke cries out to be filled by the Lord. Do not fear the smoke that darkens the sky; it shall pass, and He who is the health of your countenance will sustain you. Your safety lies not in the shifting wind, but in God our Saviour, who is able to keep you from falling and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory.

He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways; only see to it that you walk in the way of humble faith, for it is the path of safety. I have prayed that the Lord would grant you and your dear wife the true health of spirit, soul, and body, that even in this smoky air you may know the healing beams of the Sun of Righteousness. May the smoke that afflicts you be but a temporal chastisement to drive you nearer to His side, and may you both find Him to be your refuge until these calamities be overpast. The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you; the Lord lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. The smoke that surrounds you is but a shadow of the world's fleeting nature, for Scripture says, "My days have failed like smoke." Yet while it threatens the body, let it remind you of a deeper truth: the soul that feeds on the meadow of God's oracles finds clear and piercing sight, but the soul that dwells in the smoke of earthly cares weeps without end. Do not fix your eye on this turbid vapor, for all human things are dust and mire. Lift your gaze instead to the calm and pure air of heaven, where true safety dwells.

To those who fear God, there is nothing dreadful. Endure this affliction with a sober mind, for the Lord is a rock unshaken. Even as Peter rejoiced in bonds, so can you discover a joy that overcomes the present terror when you suffer for Christ's sake, or endure in trust. This is no common peril, but an occasion to prove your faith. Let your chief prayer be not merely for bodily health, but that your soul be delivered from infirmity. Many who seem healthy become sick through remissness, and many in peril are made strong. Therefore, watch and be humble; do not be confident in your own standing, but flee to the One who raises the fallen and strengthens the feeble knees.

You ask for safety for yourself and your wife. Contribute now the talent you have, zeal for your household's spiritual good. Turn this fear into intercession and lowliness of mind. God is not far from the contrite. The smoke will pass, but His mercy endures. I join my prayers to yours, that through this trial you may both be kept in soul and body, finding in Christ the health that no flame can touch.
