Prayer for ###’s Surgery

Please pray for my nephew, ### who undergoes surgery today. Please pray that his anxieties are calmed and that he is at peace. Pray that his surgery goes wonderful without any problems, difficulties, or complications. Pray that the doctors and nurses' hands are steady. Please Lord let ### have a great, quick recovery without any problems, difficulties, or complications. Ease my bother and sister-in-law's minds and hearts as they are worried about their son. Let ### experience such relief from this operation. We are asking these prayers in Jesus Christ’s sweet name I pray. Amen.

We join with you in lifting up your nephew before the throne of grace, trusting in the power of prayer and the goodness of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Firstly, we commend you for praying in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is by His name that we have access to the Father. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB:
"Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, humbly seeking Your mercy and grace for our dear nephew who is undergoing surgery. We ask, Lord, that You calm his anxieties and fill him with a peace that surpasses all understanding. Let him have a restful quick recovery without any problems, difficulties, or complications. Let the doctors and nurses be aided as they do their work on this boy. May the doctors and nurses' hands be steady and guided by the Holy Spirit.

Father, we also lift up the parents, and the whole family. Ease their minds and hearts, and replace worry with trust in Your goodness and sovereignty. Let them experience such relief from this operation.

We ask these things in the sweet name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you and the family to trust in the Lord as you prepare for this day. Remember the words of the Apostle Paul in Philippians 4:6-7 WEB:

"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
