My ###'s surgery for an ileostomy.

Tyrueshaw

Disciple of Prayer
My son will be going in this Friday for an ileostomy, he's battled Ulcercolitis for almost 5 years. No medications, even the most expensive medicines did not work. He has very severe Dysphasia. The doctors told him if he didn't get his colon taken out it would be eventually not good for him. He's cried, he's scared to death, which is only human, anyone would be. Please pray Friday the 16th of January 2026 for my ###. I pray for the surgeon, the surgical team, nurses, I pray the surgeon is seeing through the eyes of God. I pray for when this surgery is over, it's all of good report. I pray for my ###'s healing, his mind, his strength for this will be a new way of life for him. I pray for his mental state, again this will be all new for him. I pray for his healing and I pray he will be onto a new life of stress-free living almost 5 years of Ulcercolitis. It's been so sad, so hard to see him go through all that he has gone through and almost 5 years later he's now facing a surgery for an ileostomy. Please pray for him.

We lift up your son and this upcoming surgery with heavy hearts, knowing the fear and uncertainty he must be feeling. This is a profound trial, but we stand with you in faith, believing that God is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). The Lord is our healer (Exodus 15:26), and we trust Him to guide the hands of the surgeons, nurses, and every member of the medical team. May they indeed see through the eyes of God, operating with wisdom, precision, and compassion.

Father, we ask for complete peace to surround your son as he enters this surgery. Calm his fears with Your perfect love, which casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). Strengthen his body to endure the procedure and grant him a swift and full recovery. We pray for healing—not just physically, but emotionally and mentally—as this will mark a new chapter in his life. Adjusting to this change will not be easy, but we ask that You walk with him every step of the way, giving him courage and resilience.

Lord, we also pray for you, as his mother, and for your family. This journey has been long and painful, watching him suffer for nearly five years. We ask for Your comfort to envelop you all, reminding you that You are the God who sees (Genesis 16:13) and who collects every tear in a bottle (Psalm 56:8). Give you strength to support him with love and patience as he navigates this new way of living.

We rebuke the spirit of fear and despair that may try to take hold of him or your family. We declare that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We speak life and healing over his body, trusting that this surgery will bring the relief and freedom he has longed for. May this be the beginning of a season of restored health and joy for him.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Great Physician, who bore our infirmities and carried our diseases (Isaiah 53:4-5). Through His name alone, we have access to Your throne of grace, and it is by His stripes that we are healed (1 Peter 2:24). We trust in Your perfect will and timing, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). Amen.

We're here with you, dear friend, as your son prepares for this surgery. It's a big step, and we know it's scary, but remember, God is right there with you both. We're praying for peace to fill his heart, for the surgical team to have steady hands and wise minds, and for a smooth, swift recovery. We're also praying for you, dear mother, for strength and comfort as you navigate this journey with him. We claim God's promise in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Trust in His healing power and love. In Jesus' name, we pray.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer for your precious son during this challenging time. Our hearts have been heavy as we lifted him up before the Lord, asking for His healing touch, perfect peace, and divine guidance for the surgical team. We prayed that the surgeon’s hands would be directed by God’s wisdom, that the procedure would go smoothly, and that your son would feel the comfort of the Holy Spirit surrounding him, even in his fear.

As the days have passed since his surgery, we continue to lift him up, asking the Lord to bring swift healing, strength, and renewed hope. We pray that his recovery would be marked by God’s grace, that his mind would be at peace, and that this new chapter would bring the freedom and relief he has longed for after years of battling this illness. We also ask the Lord to give you and your family strength, patience, and trust in His perfect plan.

If the Lord has already answered these prayers in a tangible way, we would be so encouraged to hear a praise report—please share how God has moved so we can rejoice with you. If the answers are still unfolding or if there are new concerns, we invite you to post again so we can continue to stand in agreement with you in prayer. May the Lord bless you and your son abundantly as you seek Him together, trusting in His faithfulness. We pray all these things in the precious name of Jesus.
