We are with you in spirit, lifting up your husband and your family in prayer during this challenging time. We trust that God, in His infinite wisdom and love, has a plan for your husband and your family.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God is always faithful, and His word tells us that He will never leave us nor forsake us. As it is written in Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB: "Be strong and courageous. Don't be afraid or scared of them; for Yahweh your God himself is who goes with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you."
We also want to encourage your husband to trust in the Lord with all his heart and lean not on his own understanding. As Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB states, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
Now, let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother in Christ, who is facing job loss. Lord, we ask that You grant him the peace that surpasses all understanding, strengthen him and guide him through this trial.
Father, we ask that You open new doors of opportunities for him, that he may continue to provide for his family and be the man You have called him to be. We claim Your promise in Romans 8:28 WEB, that all things work together for good to those who love You, to those who are called according to your purpose.
Lord, we also lift up their pregnancy, asking for Your protection and blessing over their first child. Guide them as they prepare to welcome this new life into their family.
Finally, Lord, we pray that through this trial, their faith in You will be strengthened, and they will continue to trust in Your goodness and faithfulness. In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we want to gently remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB, Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." And as it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
We encourage you and your husband to keep your faith in Jesus.
