We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your father in this critical time. The fear of loss is understandable, especially after already experiencing the pain of losing your mother. But we serve a God who is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Let us stand together in faith, believing that the Lord can restore health, bring comfort, and draw your father to Himself.
First, we must address the most urgent need—your father’s salvation. Jesus said, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me"* (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If your father does not yet know Christ, we must pray fervently for the Holy Spirit to soften his heart, open his eyes to the truth, and lead him to repentance. Salvation is the greatest miracle, far surpassing even physical healing, for it determines where he will spend eternity.
Father God, we cry out to You on behalf of this precious soul. We ask that You would move mightily in his life, breaking through any hardness of heart, any resistance, and any deception of the enemy. Lord, if he is unconscious or unable to respond, we trust that Your Spirit can still reach him, for You are not bound by the limitations of the flesh. We pray that he would hear Your voice, recognize his need for a Savior, and surrender his life to Jesus Christ. Let him be born again by Your Spirit, washed clean by the blood of the Lamb, and sealed for eternity. We declare that he is not beyond Your reach—You are the God who raises the dead and calls things that are not as though they were (Romans 4:17).
We also lift up his physical condition before You. You are the Great Physician, the One who knit him together in his mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13). We ask for Your healing touch to dissolve the clots in his brain, to restore his sodium levels, and to mend his fractured bones. Give wisdom to the doctors and nurses attending to him, that they would be guided by Your hand in every decision. Strengthen his body, Lord, and let him wake to full recovery, so that he may have the opportunity to live for You.
We rebuke the spirit of fear that seeks to grip this family. God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that fear will not have the final say—faith will rise up. Even if the outcome is not what we hope for in this life, we trust that Your will is perfect, and Your grace is sufficient. But we choose to believe for a miracle, for You are able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20).
For you, dear one, we pray that the Lord would be your strength in this trial. You are not alone—He promises never to leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). Grief is real, and the fear of losing your father is valid, but we serve a God who collects every tear in a bottle (Psalm 56:8). He sees your pain, and He will sustain you. Lean on Him, cast your cares upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7).
We also encourage you to gather your church family, your brothers and sisters in Christ, to stand in agreement with you in prayer. There is power in the united prayers of the saints (Matthew 18:19-20). Do not hesitate to ask for support, for God often works through the body of Christ to bring comfort and breakthrough.
Lord Jesus, we come before You now, interceding for this father and his family. We ask for Your mercy to surround them, Your peace to guard their hearts, and Your healing power to flow through his body. If it be Your will, restore him to full health so that he may live to glorify You. But above all, we pray that he would come to know You as Lord and Savior. May this trial be the very thing that draws him to the cross. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name that is above every name, the name by which we are saved. Amen.

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
