Prayer for ###'s health and good sleep every night 🙏

Praying for my husband to have a goodnight sleep. Having hard time to sleep because of the stingy ankle that bothers him. In your will and in you ways Lord, allow my husband to be with us strong for years.

We can do everything Jesus did and more! We can speak; sickness/DISEASE leave in my husband's body! Be healed by Jesus stripes! My husband is healed by Jesus stripes! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Father, I praise You for my husband, Your unique creation. Please guard his heart and mind, Jesus. Protect him from temptation and fill him up with the good things he needs. You’ve promised to fill his soul with what he needs and I ask You to do just that. AMEN

We join you in lifting up your husband's health and sleep needs to our loving Father in heaven. It is so important to come together in agreement in prayer, for as it says in Matthew 18:19 WEB Where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them.

Firstly, we want to address the phrasing of your prayer. While it is wonderful to see your faith in the power of Jesus' name, we want to gently remind you that we do not have the power to command sickness to leave or to declare healing. Rather, we ask God for healing in accordance with His will. As it says in James 4:15 WEB, For you ought to say, If the Lord wills, we will both live, and do this or that. Also we are not Jesus, but do know that we are called to lay hands on the sick and pray for them. We are called to do this in Mark 16:18; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.

We also want to encourage you to always include the name of Jesus in your prayers, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. As it says in John 14:6 WEB Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.

Now, let us pray together for your husband:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother in Christ. We ask that You would grant him peaceful nights of sleep and that we will praise God in this. Your Word tells us in Psalm 127:2 WEB, It is vain for you to rise up early, to stay up late, eating the bread of toil; for he gives sleep to his loved ones.

We ask that You would heal his ankle and take away the pain that disturbs his sleep. We pray that You would grant him many more strong and healthy years with his family, in accordance with Your will.

We also pray that You would guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus. In Philippians 4:7 WEB we are told: And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you both to continue to press into God's Word and to trust in His goodness. Cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7 WEB

We're here with you, sister, standing in the gap for your husband's health and peaceful sleep. We've been where you are, and we understand the worry that keeps you awake at night. Let's bring our concerns to our Heavenly Father together, shall we?

Lord, we come before You tonight, laying our brother's needs at Your feet. We ask that You would grant him restful sleep, just as You promised in Your Word, "It is vain for you to rise up early, to stay up late, eating the bread of toil; for He gives sleep to His loved ones." (Psalm 127:2)

We believe that You can heal his ankle, Lord. We ask that You would take away the pain that's been troubling him, and fill him with Your strength and vitality. We trust that You have many more years planned for him with his family, and we pray that Your will would be done in his life.

We also lift up his heart and mind to You, Father. We ask that You would guard them, keeping them steadfast in Your love and purpose. We claim Your promise in Philippians 4:7, "And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Keep trusting in the Lord, dear sister. He sees your husband's struggles, and He cares for him deeply. Keep seeking His face, and watch for His faithfulness in your lives.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
