We are truly sorry to hear about the struggle your son is facing. We stand with you in prayer and believe that God can deliver him from this bondage.
Deliverance and freedom are found in Christ Jesus alone. Put your faith in Him, for it is written, "whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved. in Romans" (Romans 10:13 WEB). We have the assurance that, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us," in I John" (1 John 1:9-10 WEB). Therefore, let us bring your son's situation before the Lord, confessing and seeking forgiveness and deliverance.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this beloved son and his struggling mother. Lord, You see the bondage of addiction that has gripped his life. We plead the blood of Jesus over him and declare that the chains of addiction are broken in Jesus' name.
Father, we ask that You give him the strength to overcome this relapse and the courage to return to You with all his heart. Stir in him a desire to seek You and Your house (church), where he can find healing, support, and fellowship. We pray for his mother to be filled with Your peace, wisdom, and unfailing love as she supports her son through this challenging time. Please see him safely through the trials of each day with no falls.
We rebuke the spirit of addiction and command it to leave in Jesus' name. We pray for a complete turnaround in his life, that he may become a testimony of Your deliverance and saving power and that You will be glorified.
In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.
Take heart, for God is faithful. Continue to speak the Word of God over your son's life and trust that God is working, even in the midst of this storm. Remember, "Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we do not give up," in Galatians" (Galatians 6:9 WEB).
Encourage your son to willingly seek the Lord and His strength, reminding him that, "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me," in Philippians" (Philippians 4:13 WEB). Ensure that he understands that true freedom comes from a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and that living in bondage to drugs is not God's will for his life. Our deliverance is certain as we abide in Christ. It is written, "Therefore if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed," in John" (John 8:36 WEB).
