Prayer for resolution

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Dear Father in heaven, I come before you now about a pressing G/complex financial debt issue. I have tried to resolve this issue with no success. Loss of income caused the issue and I tried to avert it prior to the debt accumulating. I’ve tried all options to resolve it and there’s a dead end. There are no trusted friends, family or church members around. There are several people around but they cannot be trusted. I’ve put my name on waiting lists for organizations and have yet to heard back. Some had promised to send me job listings and since then there’s been no assistance. I’m growing weary. I’ve applied for jobs non stop and got rejections. Very tired but still trying. Have to take out a loan or file bankruptcy to cover the debt. I don’t want to compromise my values to pay off the debt. There may be a lawsuit if I can’t pay off the debt and I’m willing to face it. I can’t do anymore. Father I ask in Jesus name for you to pick me up. Because I’ve fallen and “broken”.

We hear the deep weariness and burden in your heart, and we lift you up before the Lord, for He is the God who sees your struggle and knows the weight of this financial debt that has pressed upon you like a crushing load. You have labored tirelessly, sought help from every avenue, and yet the answers have not come. But take heart, beloved, for our God is not distant in this trial—He is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). You have done well to turn to Him, and we join you in crying out for His divine intervention, for He is the God who provides, who parts the Red Sea when there seems to be no way forward, and who turns despair into testimony.

The Scripture reminds us in Philippians 4:19, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* This is not a hollow promise—it is the very character of our Father, who owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10) and delights in the welfare of His children. Yet we also know that His ways are higher than ours, and His timing is perfect, even when we cannot see the path ahead. You have reached the end of your own strength, and that is precisely where God’s strength is made perfect (2 Corinthians 12:9). Do not lose hope, for He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion (Philippians 1:6). This debt did not take Him by surprise, and He is not indifferent to your plight.

We must also address the temptation to compromise your values in the face of this pressure. The enemy would love nothing more than to see you take a step that dishonors God, even in desperation. But the Lord honors integrity, and He will not abandon you if you stand firm. Proverbs 10:9 tells us, *"He who walks blamelessly walks surely, but he who perverts his ways will be found out."* Trust that God’s provision will come in a way that does not require you to betray your conscience or His Word. If bankruptcy or a loan becomes the only option, seek His wisdom and peace in that decision, but do not let fear drive you to act outside of His will.

As for the threat of a lawsuit, we remind you of Romans 8:31: *"If God is for us, who can be against us?"* No weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and even if this trial escalates, the Lord will be your advocate and your shield. He may use this very situation to display His power and faithfulness in your life, turning what the enemy meant for harm into a testimony of His grace.

We also encourage you to examine your heart in this season of waiting. Have you surrendered this burden fully to the Lord, or are you still carrying the weight as if it depends on your strength alone? Jesus invites you in Matthew 11:28, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest."* Rest does not mean the absence of trouble, but the assurance that He is holding you through it. Cast this care upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7).

Now, let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we lift up Your child before You, who is weary and heavy-laden under the weight of financial debt. Lord, You see the sleepless nights, the rejected applications, the empty promises of help that never came, and the isolation that has made this burden even heavier. We ask You, in the name of Jesus, to intervene supernaturally in this situation. Open doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). Provide the job, the resources, the unexpected provision that will not only meet this need but also restore hope and strength to Your servant’s heart.

Father, we rebuke the spirit of fear and despair that has sought to overwhelm them. Replace it with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Give them wisdom to navigate each step, whether it be negotiations, legal matters, or financial decisions. Protect them from making choices out of desperation that would dishonor You. If there are lessons to be learned in this season, reveal them with gentleness and grace.

Lord, we ask for divine connections—trustworthy people or organizations You have prepared to assist in this time of need. Let Your favor go before them, softening the hearts of those who can offer help or opportunities. If there has been any sin of worry, doubt, or self-reliance, forgive them and renew their mind to trust in You alone.

We declare that this debt is not the end of their story, but a chapter where You will display Your power and faithfulness. Turn this trial into a testimony that brings glory to Your name. Strengthen them to stand firm, to keep praying, and to wait on You with expectation. Remind them that You are their Provider, their Deliverer, and their ever-present Help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray, believing that You are working even now. Amen.

Beloved, hold fast to the truth that God is not done writing your story. Keep seeking Him, keep trusting Him, and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you *will* reap a harvest if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9). We are standing with you in faith, believing for God’s breakthrough. If you feel led, fast and pray over this matter, dedicating time to seek His face with even greater intensity. He is faithful, and He will do it (1 Thessalonians 5:24).

We're right here with you, friend. We feel the weight of this financial burden, the discouragement from the lack of progress, and the fear of potential consequences. But remember, Jesus said, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28). He's inviting you to lay this burden down at His feet.

We've been praying for you, asking God to open unexpected doors, to provide supernatural solutions, and to fill you with His peace. We believe that He sees your struggle and is working behind the scenes on your behalf. Keep trusting in Him, even when you can't see the way forward.

We also want to encourage you to keep seeking help, but let's do it together. Let's pray for God to connect you with trustworthy people or organizations who can assist you. Let's ask Him to soften hearts and open opportunities.

And listen, it's okay to feel weary, but don't let that weariness turn into despair. God is faithful, and He's not finished with your story yet. Keep pressing on, keep trusting, and keep seeking His face. We're standing with you in faith, believing for God's breakthrough.

If you feel led, let's commit to fasting and praying together over this matter, dedicating time to seek God's face with even greater intensity. He is faithful, and He will do it (1 Thessalonians 5:24). Let's claim that promise together.

You're not alone in this. We're here, and most importantly, God is here. Let's trust Him together.
